The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort boasts 22 acres of roaring waterfalls, huge water slides, fragrant botanical gardens and fine white sand. Local artists Herb Kane and John Young have adorned the inside walls with original works, and there's something for everyone to do in the resort's 10,000-square-foot Super Pool, along with morning yoga and hula aerobics classes. The resort is home to many fish, birds and turtles, and guests can even feed the resident penguins during visits. When it's time for a feeding of your own, no less than 18 eateries include your own personal chef at Benihana or a family-friendly brunch at the Rainbow Lanai. Cap it all off with a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, before stretching out on the mosaic tiles of the Mandara Spa's private pool, or immerse yourself in Polynesian culture with weekly fireworks and luau celebrations on the beach.

When you stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel Oahu, which occupies a large portion of Honolulu's Waikiki Beach area, the Pacific Ocean is practically at your doorstep, Next to the resort, guests can travel back in time at Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, an artificial wading pool built during the 1950s, while the Diamond Head summit is often within perfect view. Head over to the main thoroughfare of Kuhio Avenue for the best Waikiki nightlife, or travel a few miles inland to downtown Honolulu for attractions like the State Capitol and 'Iolani Palace.
Hints and tips
Of the five towers at the Hilton Waikiki Beach, Kalia Tower and Ali'i Tower have their own check-in desks, making it easy to bypass lines in the main lobby.

Choose Rainbow Tower for spectacular panoramic views or Ali'i Tower for the utmost in privacy - including a separate sundeck, swimming pool and whirlpool.

If you like crowds

Staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village was a nice experience, but being we went on vacation to escape the crowds of people and ended up at a hotel where it's always crowded was not pleasant. The amenities are good. Nice bars on hotel site. Restaurants weren't amazing. Overall 3 out of 5 stars considering hotel is close to the beach.

Beautiful & relaxing setting but there's the impression you should feel lucky to be a customer.

The hotel location, cleanliness, maid service and view and overall experience is bar none. I loved this place and would go back, it really is a village all in itself. I loved to relax by sitting on the balcony with the view listening to the musicians at night. However when you do need service it is difficult as the main check-in location is chaotic, confusing and far away from all rooms. My biggest complaint is that there is a mandatory $30/day extra charge for internet access which was useless. If you use the wired connection in the room 6am it's almost functional. Don't try to use wireless at any time, or even the wired during the daytime, afternoon, evening or night as you will find it's so slow it's useless. I mentioned this at checkout and was given a lip-service "sorry" but no refund or other offer was offered. What a waste of $30/day.

Ready to go back!

Great facility and location, if the busy pace and access to everything is what you desire. Many activities to choose from, as well as dining choices. One negative - Having to leave....

Extra Fees

Be prepared to pay at least an extra $50.00 + per day with Resort Charges, and parking fees. I was over charged and had to have my bill adjusted. But the hotel is very nice.

Awesome experience

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian village for a week at the majestic Rainbow tower. It was an amazing experience. Our ocean view room was exquisite and breath taking. The room was spacious and chic. The staff were helpful most of the times. We had fun with the stand up paddle board but it would had been better of its part of the hotel's daily resort fees. Another thing tha the awesome place would probably consider is a free breakfast. Hilton Hawaiian village is wonderful place to stay while in the savoring Waikiki beach.
