The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort boasts 22 acres of roaring waterfalls, huge water slides, fragrant botanical gardens and fine white sand. Local artists Herb Kane and John Young have adorned the inside walls with original works, and there's something for everyone to do in the resort's 10,000-square-foot Super Pool, along with morning yoga and hula aerobics classes. The resort is home to many fish, birds and turtles, and guests can even feed the resident penguins during visits. When it's time for a feeding of your own, no less than 18 eateries include your own personal chef at Benihana or a family-friendly brunch at the Rainbow Lanai. Cap it all off with a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, before stretching out on the mosaic tiles of the Mandara Spa's private pool, or immerse yourself in Polynesian culture with weekly fireworks and luau celebrations on the beach.

When you stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel Oahu, which occupies a large portion of Honolulu's Waikiki Beach area, the Pacific Ocean is practically at your doorstep, Next to the resort, guests can travel back in time at Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, an artificial wading pool built during the 1950s, while the Diamond Head summit is often within perfect view. Head over to the main thoroughfare of Kuhio Avenue for the best Waikiki nightlife, or travel a few miles inland to downtown Honolulu for attractions like the State Capitol and 'Iolani Palace.
Hints and tips
Of the five towers at the Hilton Waikiki Beach, Kalia Tower and Ali'i Tower have their own check-in desks, making it easy to bypass lines in the main lobby.

Choose Rainbow Tower for spectacular panoramic views or Ali'i Tower for the utmost in privacy - including a separate sundeck, swimming pool and whirlpool.

Really Nice Waikiki Hotel

The hotel and beach and pool are great. It was quite crowded making the beach the best place to be. The staff were very friendly and nice. Superb location.

would not stay again

Roaches in room, air conditioning broke, plumbing issues. Had to move twice. Undisclosed charges. 30$ incidental charge. Basically meaning getting a beach towel. 27$ to park. Did I mention this is everyday. So if you dont use a towel or don't go anytime the day you are still charged this.I was not impressed deceiving on their experiences. They tey and make it look good. Its not all great just expensive.

Crowded, not up to date.

I moved from my first room in the Tapa tower because of a weird odor in the room. Then the WiFi didn't work so I spent 25 minutes on the phone with tech support only for them to tell me the WiFi doesn't work and they didn't know why. The rooms look like they were built in the 70s, and the bathroom was outdated with an extremely noisy fan. I could hear the water running through the walls as well as kids running up and down the hallways. The staff was OK, not as good of service as I have received at other, similarly rated hotels. All in all I wasn't impressed, I'll definitely be looking elsewhere for my next stay.

Great Location

Stayed at the 34th floor of the Tapa Tower with breathetaking 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. Suite had a king size bed but provided us with 2 foldaway beds which was ok for my teenage girls. The hotel was very busy and the property was huge. Lots of shops and restaurants onsite. The beach and lagoon was crowded, thats to be expected in Waikiki.

Excellent hotel for family vacation

I took my 8 yr old grandson with me to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It was a great choice--so glad we stayed there. We were in the Rainbow Tower, and we both loved our stay. Everything was so clean, fresh, and in working order. We would love to go there again, and we highly recommend it to families.

Except A/C in the room, Everything was Good.

I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort (Rainbow Tower) for 3 nights. Everything was Good except A/C in the room. A/C in the room didn't seem to work properly. I'm not sure whether it was actually in working condition. Other than A/C in the room, everything was good. I was satisfied with Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort.

Great hotel. Great value.

Nice stay here. Only one thing that it is a little far from the main shopping street in waikiki.

Nice stay

The hotel was really crowded, but I was really surprised that I didn't have to wait too long in line to check in. I was also able to check in a little early. Front desk staff were nice. Room was clean, and relaxing. Little pricey.

My experience at Hilton

I was disappointed by the way the staff of the hotel were treating me, apparently because I had made my reservation through Orbiz.

Honeymoon trip

Hotel was great the ocean view I paid extra for was a little deceiving. The ocean could be seen over top of the other building if you stood on your toes. Rooms were clean and well kept. The only thing free with this hotel was the pool that was always full of kids
