Peaceful Marina, Park and Ocean View
Great peaceful location of this hotel makes us return for a THIRD time. Easy walk to beach, park and local transportation such as Waikiki Trolley and The Bus. Hotel provides a shuttle to downtown Waikiki beginning at NOON daily and continues into late evening. Times of shuttle were often inconvenient for us to use so we elected other transit for shopping and viewing an assortment of local attractions. Take binoculars so you can see humpback whales spout and jump during morning and evening feeding times. Enjoy sights of the passing cruise ships, and youth paddlers and sailers from two local yacht clubs. In February Friday night fireworks are viewed from the marina breakwater-lasting 4-6 minutes around 7:45 PM. A perfect evening stroll is around the lagoon and down the easy beach walk toward Diamond Head. A 2-3 block walk will take you to Ala Moana Shopping Center and beyond another few blocks you can reach Wal-Mart. If Costco is your destination take local transit to Hilo Hatti and head on foot to the old Dole Pineapple Factory; this location has a collection of shops and the parking lot joins the Costco parking lot. Remember what you buy at Costco you have to CARRY ON FOOT; no worries Hilo Hatti has large shopping bags at a reasonable price. ENJOY fun in the SUN.

Everything was great except that the pool closed at 8pm. Staff, valets, and concierge were all very helpful and friendly. Location is good for Ala Moana mall, though maybe a little far from Waikiki beach for some.

Good value
Shuttle service is great, even though it starts at noon. It is not very close to main Waikiki beach area so does not get the crowd, which is great too. Room is clean and comfy.

Hotel location is good for shopping, strolling along busy Waikiki Beach area and people watching. Marina and beach view from rooms are a treat. The free shuttle to the Waikiki area is also a good thing. Close to very nice dining, though the hotel food is so-so. Loved the Spa facilities at the hotel.

My first Aloha
This was my first time to this island and my stay at the Prince made it all the nicer. My room was quite nice and quiet and the view with windows that opened to the tradewinds was wonderful. The shuttle runs all day though I found that it was just as nice to walk to the main areas and even AlaMoana shopping center was only 2 blocks from my hotel. The concierge, Tommy, was very helpful as well and found me a center front seat at the Polynesian centers show. All in all a very nice stay that I cannot wait to repeat.
