Convenient, newly-renovated airport hotel with all amenities
Best Western The Plaza Hotel is located less than one mile from Honolulu International Airport, reachable via free hotel shuttle. The hotel has 274 newly-renovated rooms, amenities for your convenience, outdoor swimming pool and business facilities accommodating up to 150 guests. The hotel is a great choice for travelers in transit or those who wish to spend a few days on Oahu away from the Waikiki scene. The hotel also offers easy access to Pearl Harbor, Aloha Stadium and area military bases.

Great stop close to the airport

Big, clean rooms
This hotel is near the airport in a commercial/warehouse area and not near any of the typical tourist sites. It fit the bill for us as it was inexpensive and the rooms were great although a little noisy since it is right next to a major highway.

BW Plaza
The location and price was fine. SInce spent most of time working, did not spend much time at the hotel, just eating and sleeping Missed breakfast buffet since do not eat heavy (eggs and stuff) for breakfast.

"Early Bird Flyer"
We watched the UH Women's Volleyball Sunday night and took an early flight out on Monday. The free shuttle service is worth the hassle of waking up earlier and beating traffic to get to the airport check-in on time.

Although the beds were OK the bathroom was in very poor shape and looked like it suffered from humidity issues. A turn off when ever you needed to go in there.

Good, not Great
We were looking for a hotel close to the airport. This was perfect. Rooms had been updated but the bathroom, particularily the ceiling, needed to be fixed as it had peeling paint and rotting materials. The parking situation in the area around the hotel was not good and the hotel provided a parking garage with access from the elevators. Better would have been free parking for guests but the fee was not terrible ($10/day). Would have rated the service as excellent but the room keys did not work the second day and had to be reauthorized. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful. Another minor problem was that there was no "Do not Disturb" sign in the room although there was on at another room down the corridor. Finally, being so close to the airport, we worried about noise from the planes. It was not a problem as there as no noise at all that we could hear!

Hotel has a dinner buffet Friday-Monday only. We went into Honalulu for dinner. Not a lot of places to eat near by the hotel. Continetal breakfast was good.
