Beach saves this hotel!!
Location,location that is the best I can say about this hotel, about the rest better is not to say anything. Staff was helpful, but it was not something I call excellent service. The breakfast was nice, but it did not make for little old decor. Not my first choice but I could go there again, if I donot get something in the area. I was there for work with a day for sight seeing, so I am definitely coming to Hawaii again.

Hawaii Get away
The hotel is great. The first thing we drove in they came out and greeted us by name. The hotel is in a great location across the street from the beach. Staff was absolutley great. rooms were great the only thing is we requested a room with a King size bed and we got two doubles.

Work and Play
I was in Hawaii for business but left a day later to enjoy the island of O'ahu. The staff was very friendly. They had a really good continental breakfast every morning and gave you a complimentary insulated lunch bag to carry your food back to the room or out to the beach. The beach had picnic tables, some where under pavilions. Diamond head Park was not too far down the road for a great hiking experience. Everything was within walking distance and the prices for food were not any more expensive than Applebee's or Chili's.

The international market was also a great place to get souveniers. There are also great shops along the street. It was like shopping at a mall but outdoors.

ITS NICE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE
FROM THE OC, DVO SAYSSSS... THIS HOTEL WAS NICE THE DECOR WAS VERY HAWAIIAN LOTS OF COOL SURFBOARD DECOR. ITS VERY CLOSE TO THE WATER YOU ARE BASICALLY ACROSS FROM THE WATER WITHIN STEPS FROM YOUR HOTEL.AND BEHIND THE HOTEL THERE IS A GREAT PLACE TO RENT MOPEDS. LOTS OF GOOD FOOD PLACES BELOW THE HOTEL LIKE STARBUCKS WOLFGANG PUCK ,COLD STONE,SUBWAY AND THE FREE BREAKFAST IS A GREAT BONUS TO HAVE EVERY MORNING BY THE POOL WITH FREE ENTERTAINMENT. I THINK THIS IS A PLACE FOR ANYONE JUST COMING FOR THE FIRST TIME OR RETURNING BUT THE ELEVATORS ARE A PAIN WITH THE LETTERS AND ALL BUT YOU WILL GET USE TO IT, OVERALL THE SERVICE WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND YOU ARE TREATED VERY KINDLY.THIS IS A SURF SPOT RIGHT INFRONT IS THE FAMOUS DUKE STATUE AND PLENTY OF BOARDS TO RENT FOR LIKE TEN DOLLARS!!!!

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING THEY GIVE YOU MINI COOLERS TO STOCK UP FOOD AND TAKE TO THE BEACH ASWELL THEY DO CHARGE FIVE BUCKS FOR OMLETTES AND WAFFLES IF YOU WANT THAT STUFF BUT ITS WORTH IT TOO THE OMLETTS ARE YUMMY GOOD MADE FRESH TO ORDER.SYOU GET FREE UNLIMITED MILK JUICES SODA WATER FRESH FRUIT CEREAL YOGURT PASTRIES MISO SOUP BAGELS ETC.

Reasonable accomodations
Comfortable enough standard room (no view - you get what you pay for). Wireless service not free. In-room safe not free. Limited TV channels with fickle remote control. Restaurant had good food, resort-priced, and with variable service. Wolfgang Puck's take out was pretty good. Location was good. No self park, only valet. Morning buffet was reasonable. Toiletries better than expected.

Great place!
The room was small but nice and clean. The hotel is in a great location, our room overlooked the pool and restaurant where there was a Hawaiian band each night. Don't bother with the free breakfast, it's crowded and disappointing. Everything else was fabulous.

Nice partial ocean view Room was adequate, no desk for work I would not recommend for the business traveller due to no inroom internet or desk. A nice hotel for vacation.
