Unfortunate.

We were originally checked into a room in an alley with a veranda that wouldn't even fit 1 chair & our partial ocean view...you had to lean out over slim edge to view any ocean front. They agreed to upgrade this the next day after checking out & possibly by 3pm another room would be clean...interrupting any chance for plans the day after arrival. There were street people littering the side walk & beaches. They had set up house under any oceanview space available. Tents, homeless people and filth covered from this hotel down to the Aquarium. The police were out in force to wake them up at sunrise.

very disappointing

I was disappointed with this hotel from the very beginning. It said that it did a FULL breckfast on the beach, but it only had a nasty premade meal that was the only option, and it was disgusting. It said breakfast went until 9:00 but in fact it stopped at 8:30, and if you not a morning person the half hour makes a big difference. When we got our first room it was small, had water stains, the internet cable didn't work, it was next to the elevators and it sounded like a train was going past the room every time an elevator went by, and it had mold in the bathroom. The walls were paper thin and often there were loud people in the halls and in the rooms next to us. Plus, there was a band that played at the bar down stairs until 12:00 midnight, and you might as well been down there, because you could hear it that clear in the room. Overall, I hated this hotel and will NEVER stay here again. I would never recommend this hotel to any one!!

Very poor accommodations

You have to have keys to operate the elevators if they work. Then when you make it to the room just hope that it is what you paid for because they do not check for the correct room accommodations. After you finally get to the room that should be correct hope that the bed has not been used and hairs are not on the bed! Was not at all please and after all this the staff wanted to upgrade us on the rooms needless to say that I was not staying there. The dust was all over the lights and the balony was standing room only no chairs so please do not lean over the rail.

Don't wast your money!

Went to Hawaii for vacation. Hotel was dirty, room small and place noisy. We placed our free breakfast in the garbage and went elsewhere to eat. We left after one night.

Couldn't believe our luck

We found hair in the bathtub and a dirty toilet in our first room. The staff was very nice and apologized as they relocated us down the hall. The second room smelled like sushi and we aren't sure if it was because it was right above the restaurant but it was not pleasant. The 3rd room had dirty sheets but we were over it and tired by that point. What an experience!

The bad the bad and the bad

Your package promised all rooms with breakfast and the manager would not compromise. We wanted a kingsize bed instead of two doubles and they would not allow that even though the hotel was 70% empty.

Rip off

Online they advertise the price for "two double beds or a King bed". When we got there they said they only had double beds left and if we wanted a king we had to pay more money and upgrade our room from standard to premium. Once in the new premium room the only difference was the king bed and a slightly larger balcony. Seems like a scam to me. We had to ask for new sheets, the sheets in the room came with hair on them. Someones hair was in the sink from shaving. They need to learn how to clean. There is no coffee maker and no bag for the ice bucket. This seems like a 2 to 3 star hotel not even close to 4 star. The pool looks huge in the picture but it's kind of small. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Ruined our honeymoon

They had a few good things and bunch of bad stuff. Have to wait forever to take an elevator, then you try to enter and it shuts on you and you are stuck in the middle. Lot of people ditched this, it happens every time. parking is valet, they charge 22 dollars per day, you have to call 15 minutes early and go down stairs and wait for about 15 more minutes. The blankets were ripped but were cleaned though. I was on a honeymoon and had a cruise booked, had to check in at 4.45pm. I called for the car and went downstairs at 4pm. They said the management will not release your car unless I check with front desk, I run upstairs to the front desk and after waiting in a long line and requesting people to go ahead of them as i was getting late for the cruise, the lady says when I checked in the hotel, they forget to take my credit card so they can charge me for parking and that's why they are not releasing my car, you can expect the rest..... Garbage. The breakfast was good though, you get scrambled eggs, yogurt, cereal, titor-tots, fruits, fruit juice, coffee, muffin, bagel, & pudding. You are entertained with live songs and dance at the breakfast. The rooms were in a fair condition, the blankets had holes and stuff in them.

This Hotel is a scam!

We vacation every year to a 'tropical' location, this hotel was far below expectations. A late check out has a fee 'per hour', the advertised an included 'Breakfest on the Beach' and it's really limited lawn chairs by the pool and it is not included with the room charge as advertised, the rooms are small, there is only 1 elevator to parking so you have to change elevators at the lobby to get your car OR you can use the escalator IF it is working. All in all we will not be staying here again. The best experience at the hotel were the Valets...they go the extra mile everyday!

Snotty attitudes & mold on the trim

I was given two "kids eat free tags" and was told it was valid at the hotel when I checked in but when I checkd out in 6 days, I received a bill for my kids eating the breakfast on teh beach. When I questioned it, I was told "oh they didn't mean breakfast".
