Aston WB - Not quite there
Aged hotel is good but make sure you get Ocean Front and not Ocean View of a rusty old hotel next door.

family vacation
It was a fairly nice stay in this hotel. Waikiki beach is only five minute walk away. It was also very easy to find dining or shopping places around this hotel. One thing that I'm not very satisfied with was that its breakfast offered was the same every day.

Very nice hotel!
We loved the location of the hotel. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. The only thing that was missing was in room Wifi. There was Wifi only at the pool area. We also wished the rooms could have been bigger. But overall, it was a very nice hotel.

Good hotel
I stayed at Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel for three days with my family to go sightseeing.This hotel is very close to the Waikiki beach and Honolulu zoo. Since all staffs in the hotel were very kindness, we enjoyed this trip. Although the drain in the bath slightly tended to be stopped up, we had good time in the room because of the good views from the veranda of the room. All foods of the breakfast in the hotel were yummy. Especially the miso soup was a good japanese taste. The rice ball was also good. Thanks!

Staff wasn't very friendly and we had to pay for extras that we never used or wanted. There wasn't any coffee pots in the rooms to make coffee even cheaper hotel offered this. When I did purchase a cup it was $1.50 for a very small cup but I could go down a couple of stores and get it for $.99. The "free" breakfast line was so long we never got to eat anything. The best part was the security

Fantastic.
Over all the Aston Waikiki Hotel is fantastic as I must say! However, the hotel can get pricey. If you happened to rent a car and need to park, there's only valet parking. Which is $27 dollars a day. They also require you to buy the package for $10 a day for internet, movies, and a safe box. The rooms look decently nice, and depending where you are you might get a wonderful view. On the plus side though you seriously can walk 6 feet and you'll reach the beach!

I don't recommend to people
This is an average hotel in my view. Staff was good. But the Breakfast is horrible. If you are staying lower level rooms, there was lot of noise. This is definitely not a 4 star experience. I would probably give 3 star.

Hawaii vacation 2012
Had a great time in Hawaii. Will definitely go back. Next time may try another hotel, for the most parts the hotel was ok, not to many wows just average. The staff was friendly only if you asked them a question and the elevators have there issues.The room was clean for the most part until you look under the beds, had not been cleaned for some time. Room space a little cramped for a party of 3 or 4 in 1 room. The view, we are not really sure on what the difference is between an ocean view and a partial ocean view. We had the ocean view and we saw Waikiki beach and the ocean to the right of the hotel and no view of Diamond head and the ocean to the left of the hotel, guess you can't have everything. Morning breakfast is great, just have to get there early other wise choices are limited. Live music at night from the restraint is great. Tour bus pick up in front of hotel is great, just don't be late otherwise they will leave you, but not to worry some of the tour buses usually are 15-30 minutes late due to the location of the hotel. The hotel is one of the later stop for some of the tour buses. Over all these are just little things that did not detract us from having a great time.

The pictures online made the hotel look amazing....not so much in person. Average room, great view facing the mountain. TV was terrible. Breakfast was good--maybe try some variety though. Enjoyed the morning music. Tiki's Restaurant and pizza place downstairs were awesome! Prices in gift shop were too high--ABC stores got our business.

Took a trip back to HI after moving 6 years ago fron Waikiki. Always loved the location of this hotel. Right in front of great surf on the Kap Park end of Waikiki. Less busy end with more views of beach, palm trees instead of high rise hotels. Great pool that overlooks water and live music that plays during a night swim with the family. Clean, comfortable great hotel. Didn't care for the $27 valet or $10 resort fee but it was very convenient and nice having both. Views of Waikiki are the BEST! Will stay there again when we return. Also great breakfast poolside with music and luau dancer!!
