Aqua Waikiki Pearl

Aqua Hotel should be rated only "one star" or less. Thef first room they gave us their bed sheets had stains all over it, I found bed a bug on the bug and few flies all over the lamp. AND their carpet was dirty too. My daughter was afraid to sleep in that room. I was tempted to check in to another hotel but since we already paid for it. There was no way they would give us a refund. We went back to the lobby to complain. Good that the front desk gave us another room.

My room was very quiet, the bed was excellent, the staff was friendly, check in was easy and the staff person accommodating, and I had no difficulty getting a parking place in the rather small lot. The location is close to downtown shops -- a half a block from the International Marketplace -- and an easy walk to the beach. My room was small but just fine form my needs. Compared to other hotels in this price range where I have stayed, this is a better choice.

Hotel lobby very clean with secure entrance after hours. Finding entrance was a challenge though since it is located among street shopping stores. Two elevators service guests and have some age to them giving a dated look to Aqua Waikiki Pearl hotel. Catwalks provide access to rooms equal or greater to upscale hotels having mini fridge freezer, microwave, counter space. Sleep quality like all area hotels is with traffic noise early an late due to main route. Overall your close to everything enjoyable with nightlife atmosphere. Loved the clean room, full tub/shower and floor layout of superior room with balcony. You also did not hear the exterior mounted A/C run as much like other hotels. I would recommend a visit you are close and parking is secluded.

It is difficult to find accommodations for a family of 5 but the Aqua Pearl did it well with a two bedroom studio and kitchette. Very clean and spacious and the help at the front desk was very welcoming and exceptionally helpful. We were very happy with the accommodations.

I had good time! I will recommend my friends to stay that hotel.

Location! That, along with the super friendly staff is what makes this hotel a great stay for the value! A few blocks around the corner and you'll find yourself in the international food market. A few streets down and you'll be burying your feet in Waikiki Beach! Every morning you'll be greeted by friendly front desk staff. The room was pretty average, nothing spectacular. The room was clean everytime we got back to the hotel. No breakfast and no swimming pool, but a great value if all you need is a place to stay for a few days.

Staff was very friendly, speedy and offers suggestions of activities to do. Hotel is located on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki, can walk to the beach within 10mins. Rooms were okay. The rooms were pretty noisy, can hear other guests and traffic all the time, even with ear plugs. Parking is very limited at hotel, you have to be back with your car by mid afternoon if you want a space in their lot, otherwise you have to go to 1 of 2 alternate areas (close by but not ideal to have to go to) due to operating hours. Overall, okay hotel, staff was super helpful and friendly, but hotel could use some work.

We needed a room for a couple of days while we checked out Pearl Harbor. Coming from peaceful Maui, staying in chaotic Waikiki was an unpleasant shock. However, once we got used to the horrible traffic and cramped feel, we saw that there are many good local eateries nearby and International Marketplace to buy last minute gifts is almost across the street. The hotel itself is clean, staff is nice and helpful. Lots of street noise on our side, paid extra for balcony that had no view. Parking is $20 daily and more often that not you will end up in overflow parking 3 blocks away which is a hassle when you're exhausted after a day sightseeing.
