Aqua Waikiki Joy Hotel

THIS WAS A PERFECT LOCATION FOR FAMILY,COUPLES OR SINGLES. TWO BLOCKS FROM BEAUTIFUL SHOPPING STORES WITH WONDERFUL FLAME LIT STREETS, AND 4 BLOCKS FROM BEACH ACCESS. RESTURANT OF ANY SOURCE YOU LIKE. CHEAP DRUG STORES NEXT DOOR WITH GIFTS AND FOOD.LOVED THE AREA. GOT A UP GRADED ROOM FOR MINER MISTAKE THEY MADE. DO CHARGE FOR PARKING AND SHUTTLE TO AIRPORT.

The ResortQuest Joy Waikiki Hotel was an excellent choice for our first stay in Hawaii. The location is excellent and a short walk to the beaches, shopping, and eating places. We enjoyed the morning continental breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. While ResortQuest Joy is not the newest or largest hotel in the area, it provides a more leisurely and homey atmosphere, perfect for relaxing in the somewhat hectic pace of Waikiki. We would certainly return to this hotel when/if we get a chance to again visit Oahu. A good value for the money.

We stayed at this hotel with another couple and ended up with two types of rooms the king size bed room was very small and almost wall to wall furniture the two double bed room was a little larger that you could at least move around. The pool is very small so I did not see anyone using it. The location is great for places to eat, shop, and night life within walking distance. Overall a pretty nice place to stay even with the small rooms.

The ResortQuest Waikiki Joy was the perfect hotel for the hawaii traveller on the go. We appreciated the fact that the hotel was in the heart of Waikiki and within a half block of the main shopping and entertainment areas--and because the hotel sat by itself on a much quieter side street with minor traffic. The daily continental breakfast was a major plus versus the pricey and limited breakfast dining options nearby. The rooms were more than adequate, clean, and quiet. Although parking is valet only, the hotel staff offered very expeditious and friendly service.

Although it was going through some renovating, we were very pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. Staff was more than accommodating. Rooms were very clean and nice. We will definitely stay there again. Centrally located to restaurants and shopping. Valet parking only.

I was on a personal trip just to treat myself, relax, and do some shopping. Staying at the Waikiki Joy was perfect - it was quiet, and the pleasant, friendly staff were very helpful and accomodating. I was even surprised to be able to check in not just my bag early, but was also given the room 4 hrs. prior to check in time! I thought that was very generous. The hotel has a private, quaint, and personal atmosphere, that makes you feel at home. The convenience of having your own jacuzzi bathtub in the room was wonderful! The hotel is situated close to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and even bus transportation. I definitely plan to return here time and time again. The "Waikiki Joy" certainly lives up to it's name!

The hotel is great location and clean room and very friendly host and worker. The price include continental breakfast and best value in Hawaii.

The hotel was a excellent stay. My resevation was not there when I checked in and the front desk man help me so much in an instant without any hesitation. He even upgraded my room. Awesome service just make sure if you resereve the room on the internet make sure you have your confirmation paper.

The hotel was 2 blocks from the beach, clean good size room with balcony. The bathroom was a good size with a jacquzzi bath tub, the shower pressure could have been stronger, but nothing to really complain about. The staff was friendly and helpful very easy check in and check out. Free continental breakfast was offered every morning from 7 to 9. Muffins, fruit, bread, orange juice, pineapple juice water and coffee. Pretty good for free! The pool was very small but that was not an issue for us because we had plans everyday. They have a massage chair in the lobby which helped after our Diamond Head hike!!! Pleasant stay for the money.

We stayed there from Feb 17 - Feb 20. The front desk attendants were extremely polite and helpful. Mike, I believe he is the head of valet, was also extremely helpful and polite. We rent hotel rooms based on reviews and this place has great reviews and it is for a reason, that they are great. Don't believe the bad reviews, those are just people who were unhappy because they were hoping for a 5 star hotel when they only paid $90. Usually, you get what you pay for, but here, you get more. The service is impeccable and everything is within walking distance, even the beach. The views are not great, but we didn't book a hotel to look out of a window all day. We went there to enjoy and explore Hawai'i. The bed was comfortable, and I can't give it 5 stars since my bed at home is super comfortable, but it was still pretty good. They charge for parking, but they park your car for you, so it's well worth it since everywhere in Honolulu charges to self-park. They charge for internet, but if you have AT&T internet at home, the Starbucks wi-fi across the street reaches at least to the 6th floor with pretty good signal. The place was clean and even though the traffic below is pretty constant throughout the day, it is still very quiet with the sliding door closed. If you're looking for room service, massages, and views that you can write a novel about, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a great place at a great price where you can sleep for the night, with 24 hour great service, then this is the place for you.
