Overview

Blending trendy design with authentic Polynesian touches and top-of-the-line amenities, the Aqua brand is a modern answer to the traditional Hawaiian experience. First founded in 2001, Aqua Hotels & Resorts is now home to more than 15 one-of-a-kind properties on four Hawaiian Islands, including the smaller islands of Lanai and Molokai, and an all-suite hotel in Guam.

Like all Aqua properties, Honolulu's Aqua Palms Waikiki is a vibrant hotel with a uniquely Hawaiian feel and a contemporary sensibility.

Start your day in paradise with a freshly brewed cup of Kona coffee, a local blend from the Big Island, while taking in beautiful views of Diamond Head, the Pacific Ocean or the tropical city landscape. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the downstairs IHOP restaurant, head outside to explore the city or schedule a rejuvenating in-room lomi lomi massage.

Good location

Would recommend Wed, Sep 2, 2015
Room was nice, King bed and Queen sofabed easily fit in the room. The bathroom is a little small but not too bad. The location is good, on the edge of Waikiki so you don't have to deal with all the traffic on the strip. Parking garage is tight and parking is an additional $25/day. I didn't use it but they have a shuttle to Ala Moana shopping center if you want to use it.

Hawaii Trip

Would recommend Fri, Jul 3, 2015
Very nice and clean hotel. The room is very cozy and it makes you feel at home. The staff are very friendly and responds quick to your needs. It's located on the corner of Ala Moana and Kalakua and at the beginning of the Waikiki strip. So, its a 15 minute walk to go to the center of the strip.

Room too small

Would not recommend Sun, May 17, 2015
Location for hotel is good. Room was definitely too small for a family of 4. Outside of hotel looks modern but the inside is outdated. Did not appreciate additional charges of $15/day for using coffee in room and $25/day for parking. Overall experience is poor. Not recommended.

A good place to stay

Would recommend Sun, May 3, 2015
We stayed here for a week and were pleased with most of it.Room was clean and large enough. We were on sixth floor with great view of Diamond Head.Staff was great and quick to help. The only complain I would have is the daily service(or whatever they call it) $15 charge that makes no sense since you don't get much in return.Would recoment you give it a try.

Great location

Would recommend Thu, Apr 9, 2015
The hotel is located just of off Wakiki which made it a great value for the money. Being on the beach would have been better but it would have been way more money. Great spot if you want to be close but don't want to spend the big bucks for beach front

Business trip/job interview

Would not recommend Thu, Mar 26, 2015
The hotel was a good value with great location for a short business trip for my fiancé and I. It is directly across from the Hilton Hawaiian village so you can always use their beachfront property. However the hotel amenities are lacking. The pool was more like a dirty hot tub on the street side. There were small sandflies crawling all over my room and invading my sweet macaroons that I had bought from the food festival. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. I really enjoyed the balcony facing the city. I would not recommend this hotel for families since they don't actually have a place to pull up to park your car to unload luggage. Parking was roughly $25 a day and had a very steep incline to get to the garage. We had to drive around a few times to even figure out where the main entrance was. If you want a good price on a hotel I would try the Hilton at the opposite end of the strip. They have a decent pool on the top floor and two blocks from the main Waikiki Beach.
