The Aqua Palms Waikiki, a boutique property with contemporary style, is another winner in the Aqua hotel family. The hotel is located a block from Waikiki Beach and only a 10-minute stroll to Hawaii's largest shopping mall. Free in-room Internet, plentiful views and plush amenities make it a good choice for couples and families. Business travelers appreciate an on-site business center and close proximity to the Hawaii Convention Center.

The price is really great. The location s so close to the beach and shopping centers. I do not have anything bad to say on this hotel. The girl at the service desk for Hawaiian tourist activities was so helpful and planned our schedule for our stay. It was great.

Great place to sleep
My wife and I are active vacationers, so we don't tend to spend a lot of time in hotel rooms. We use them mainly for sleeping, getting cleaned up, and maybe heating up and eating some leftovers. For that use, the Aqua Palms was perfect. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, there wasn't a whole lot of disturbing noise, and they provided the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel gives you beach towels and beach chairs, and they also will arrange island excursions for you. We didn't use this service, as our two best friends are locals, and they showed us all the sweet spots. If you want to use the internet in your room, make sure your computer is ready to accept a network cable, as there is no Wi-Fi service in the rooms. Wi-Fi is available in the lobby for free. As long as the price is still as good as it was this last time, we would definitely stay here again.

Short drive from hotel
If you want to see the island on your own terms, rent a car prior to your trip with one of the discount sites. My wife and I hate being shuffled along according to a pre-established tour schedule, and Ohau is definitely a place that has a LOT to offer and see.

The staff was totally friendly!! I called early on my check in day and told them I had a late flight, They made sure my room was ready when I got there!! Wired internet in the room and free wifi in the lobby. Both are nice but I would have preferred free wifi in the room. The location is steps from the ocean and the lagoon at the Hilton. Great place to watch people and sunsets. Easy access to bus or trolley rides. Shopping is all within walking distance. (mini fridge in room and microwave were life savers for quick snacks and drinks) I would come back here again and again!!
