It was not all work and No play!!

Although this trip was work related, it was more than that. This was a great hotel and will continue to book this location. I recommend it to anyone who has never been in this region of the country.

Okay for the money

For the price I paid this hotel was good enough, but it lacks room service, and the staff was not particularly helpful. The eating & drinking options in the hotel are very limited. They do have a nice pool and large area around it.

First time stay at the Ala Moana Hotel

We came to Hawaii to visit family and this was our first time staying at this hotel. While it was nice to be super close to Ala Moana shopping center, I was a little disappointed with the size of our room. It was in the new tower but it was tiny! Room was clean and nice. For the sake of convience we ate several times at the Plantation Cafe which was part of the hotel but wow the buffet was spendy for what was offered; approximately $16.00 per person. There was the Makai Market located at the shopping center that we frequented too which was nice.

Alo Moana

I was in Honolulu for business and a couple days vacation. That staff at the Ala Moana was excellent, they helped us out with day trip tips, ideas for meals and things to do in Waikiki. The value was excellent. The location was very conveniet.
