Ala Moana Hotel

This Hotel was not hard to find and was very well kept. The staff was friendly and check in was easy. The room was perfect for the 2 of us and my husband was happy with the work out room. It was not too hard to find a place to eat but we should of asked the hotel staff. I would have preffered the ocean view over the alley view we had but traffic noise was not bad. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

The room was comfortable but not as large as expected. It was very close to the Ala Moana Shopping Center which was very convenient for me to do my shopping.

this hotel does not offer enough variety. the main resturant is closed during lunch and dinner for renovations & there is no longer a room service option. Therefore you are stuck with eating the overpriced Japanese, Chinese or bar food.

this hotel, llcated on the A La Moana Mall complex premises, is an excellent choice for anyone where staying on the water in Honolulu is not critical. It is located a short walk from the water in the same name public park in Honolulu. However, the opportunities fro a day on the nearby beaches are ever prevalent. Without any reservayion whatsoever, I would suggest staying at this facility.

The Ala Moana Hotel was conveniently located to Waikiki Beach, shopping and dining. However, the room my boyfriend and I were placed in was quite small with very little storage space. It was sometimes hard moving around in the room without bumping into each other.

We were fortunate enough during our entire stay to be the last to be picked up and the first dropped off when we took shuttles. The concierge desk are very helpful in planning events for your stay. Room service seems to be coming from the Cafe's kitchen. We spent approximately $45 every morning for breakfast for two. The options in the Cafe are limited but the food is good.

The Ala Moana Hotel was Great!! We came to Oahu for The Lion King, the hotel was easily accessible to the Blaisdell. We loved walking across the street to the Ala Moana Center to shop ,eat and take the Pink trolley to Waikiki. The room was beautiful, very comfortable. My son watched a new movie, he was thrilled. I will definitely stay at the Ala Moana hotel on future visits to Oahu. The hotel staff was VERY friendly.

The Ala Moana hotel was definatley not what i had expected. I was disappointed with the whole experience at that hotel. Half way through my trip i changed hotels and went and stayed with family at a different resort. The concierge desk was a joke! The lady did not know anything and was not helpful. She even told me that she did not know much. She barely spoke English and i had to walk away from her twice becasue i was so frustrated. The cleaining ladies also did not do a very good job. One day they did not clean my room at all and the rest of the time there was still coffee on the counter and there was never enough towels

the only complaint i have is that the rooms were FREEZING!!!! we had to use a plastic bag to cover a vent that there was no way to shut off and very very stong air conditioning was pouring out of it non stop. beyond that everything else was fine.

the rooms in this hotel are small, but you really don't need alot of room. they are clean, extremely well kept and beds are great. It is close to the beach to the mall to downtown amenities and I will stay there again.
