It was a little more than what I wanted to pay - I only saved about $8 booking this room online as opposed as the lady coming in behind me just checking out the vacancies. But it was a nice stay. The front desk almost gave me a hassle stating that they usually don't give corporate rates and that is not how I booked. She told me "next" time they would not honor it. I was confused, but we were tired and it was late when we checked in and I didn't feel like going thru the motions.

Dont eat at the Shoney's next door on Friday night, you pay for the seafood and steak buffet but they boil the tiny steaks, not worth the $$.

An Excellent Place To Rest Your Head
The stay was very nice. We went to Wild Adventures during our stay and was amazed at how close we were to the park and various restaurants that made chosing somewhere for dinner easy. The hotel made the trip a whole lot of fun. We slept like angels and did not want to wake up the next morning. This hotel is a really great hotel for what it's worth. LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! WOULD STAY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!

Stop on way to Florida
The hotel and the front desk was extremely polite. We liked having one bed with a desk in lieu of a crowded 2 bed room. The hotel was clean, although it seemed to be due for an updating. We would defintely stay there again when passing thru.

There was a Shoney resturant next door within walking distance, which would make meals very convenient.

Room for a little improvement
The location and check-in staff were great! The main concerns that I had were the unclean coffee maker, broken shower rod, rusted metal on door, stains on mattress, absence of iron in room, hard mattress and flat pillows, and the corrosion and rust around sink. Since we were only in town one night for a graduation, this hotel sufficed, but I don't think that I'd stay there any longer than that. If management could supply for a few upgrades, I'd be willing to recommend it.

Convenient location, Ffamily Friendly, Will Stay with them again!!
The Guest House Inn, Valdosta, GA was very comfortable, they accommodated us to the fullest of intentions, we couldn't ask for more. The room was very cozy, with the vanity outside of the bathroom that was a great ammenity. Pool area was clean and well observed by the staff. It was within wasking distance to shopping and dining, (like next door). This Inn is located about 2 miles from my grandmother's residence, the reason I go to Valdosta, GA, which is alsowithin walking distance for me. It makes the perfect morning jog. This is the place I would recommend to friends or family. We had a very pleasant stay!!!

The resturant located next door has a breakfast,lunch and dinner AUCE,and a menu packed full.A Family friendly atmosphere,and reasonably priced.The City's Mall is just about 2.5blocks from the Hotel,along with otherpopular resturants,retailers and grocers as well.The Super Wal-mart is located1 block from the Hotel,which is super nice when traveling
