Jameson Inn Valdosta

I was in town for business and thought I'd try a different hotel. Not the worst idea, but not the best. While housekeeping did make the bed, they put a stack of towels and a couple of soaps on the bed and not in the bathroom. Hotel was secure and in a good area. Complimentary breakfast was almost non-existent. There was only one cup for the drinks and all they offered (hot) was busquits and gravy.

This was a nice hotel. We went to Valdosta to go to WIld adventures. My duaghter ended up getting very sick so we had to leave early and the hotel was nice enough to refund our money for the last day. We were very pleased with the staff.

We stayed at the hotel because it was convient to the interstate and the price was good but we were very disapointed with a filty bathroom. The toilet was not clean, the iron didn't work, and there was no cold water. The cold water was nearly as hot as the hot water.

This hotel was nice..but Orbitz did not have their act together. The website stated that their would be a microwave & small fridge in BOTH rooms we reserved..we also asked about this on the phone..and we were told it would have a fridge and microwave in BOTH rooms!! It was in one room..we asked that the rooms be side by side...they were on opposite sides of the hotel...we called Orbitz and they could not help us..we had to wait until the Manager of Jameson was in..which wasnt until MONDAY..this was a Friday night...so we called them this morning and NO ONE WANTED TO MAKE ANYTHING RIGHT! Orbitz wanted to give us a voucher for $25 WHAT??? Misrepresentation!!!! Half my family across the hotel?? Hotel was nice, but Orbitz doesn't have their act together!!! If you want to reserve this hotel go straight through Jameson..they will match any prices.

The Jameson Inn was in an unusual location next to a mall but had nearby locations for meals and lots of shopping. The room was very clean and orderly and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my one night there and would return on future trips.

Very nice hotel, location was great (mall/resturants).

Check in was fast and easy, room was spotless, staff even went on Mapquest to get us directions to someplace we wanted to go. It was so nice we changed our travel plans around so we could stay at another Jameson in Jackinsonville. There were multiple restaurants and even a movie theater near by so after a long hot day in the son, we could cool off at the movies.

The hotel room was a bit musty and was pretty bare bones. I would not select this hotel in the future

We had a great stay at the Jameson Inn. The staff was quick to respond to problems or needs. I noticed the shower head was spewing water all over the wall behind it. I mentioned it to the front desk as I headed off to breakfast and it was fixed before I finished my breakfast. I needed to know how to get somewhere in town and the staff gave me a map and showed me the best way to get there. I was leaving there and heading for South Carololina and the front desk staff made a copy of a map for me and highlighed the trip on the map. Again, great staff.
