Jameson Inn Thomasville

I had a Meeting in Thomasville at 9AM. I drove the 300 miles from Atlanta the evening before, stayed 5 miles away from my account at the Inn so i would not have a terribly long day driving 600 miles round trip. Staff was great, Amenities were ok, rooms were a little dated but clean. Good value. I would stay there again but next time i will remember to bring my own pillow. I did have to ask to have my room switched to the back side of the hotel due to evening road traffic but they were happy enough to accomidate me which was nice.

ABSOULTY HORRIBLE! I PAID $80.00 for a night but this place was disgusting and wouldn't even kennel my dog here! Are you kidding! $80.00 a night; this is extremely over priced for what you get. Let just start with the reviews we read on this place….okay the carpets are a bit dirty (that review was putting it nicely). Before we had a chance to check in I heard from other guests at the soccer field that this place was really horrible and one family actually had a room that looked like a crime scene! Clorox bleach foot prints all over the carpet on the chairs. Wouldn't be surprised if there was blood in the carpet too! [...] This place shouldn't be allowed to charge more than $35.00 a night if even that! [...] Oh, and don't even bother to ask for new clean towels; they only have enough for 1/2 of the guests in this little motel. Yet, not to worry they will offer some hand towels to use in replacement of bath towels. oh, and forget about asking for any pillows. What you get is what you get….not enough to go around. If you feel like taking a dip in the pool, be ready to swim with the bacteria that floats on top. Our room wasn't nearly as bad as some of the other guests but it was pretty nasty! Carpet had all sorts of stains, walls were textured with food; (looked liked there was a food fight in our room before we checked in.) Some how we ended up with a handycap room which sounded cool because we got a big bathroom but it was also very nasty! The hand held shower head had black dirty stains on it. I ended up in a bed next to the air which blew in my face every 20 minutes throug out the night. Lets just say there wans't a spot in the room that didn't have some sort of stain on it. Ugh….. this was the worst place ever! ever,ever,ever! DON'T STAY HERE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!

It was super clean and very comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The air conditioner was not working but, thankfully, it was a cool enough night that it didn't matter. Great breakfast and easy check in and check out process.

We enjoyed our stay, however we found the carpet in our room very dirty. Also the bathtub was slow to drain. The staff seemed very courteous.

This was a getaway for a wedding. Granted there are few hotels in the area so we tried what looked the best. The staff was average but the room was below average. The remote control did not work properly and the water for the shower was backwards, hot was cold and cold was hot. There was wall paper pealing off the wall and the shower was missing a handle. We wouldn't stay there again and would have drove the 20 minutes to a better hotel.

I attended a family reunion. The hotel was easy to find. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

nice comfortable hotel

We needed a room for only 1 night. We needed something nice and clean but not to expensive. Jameson Inn was perfect. It was close to everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. If we ever travel to Thomasville again we will stay here.

We were there for wife's 65th high school class reunion. Jameson ideally located in the middle of our somewhat scattered activities. Beautiful weather, soaked in a full moon from the veranda outside our room. The Jameson concept, especially architecturally, is precisely to our taste.
