BEST WESTERN Stone Mountain

Day one- 2 story hotel but no elivator do had to carry my luggage up the stairs. First floor rooms don't feel safe. Ice machine located in a shady alley down stairs (which didn't work). Small outdoor pool where the night time lights don't work. Wait it gets worse.. Towels had tiny strands of hair stuck in them. Ac not powerful enPugh. Wet carpet from water leaking from ac. Boring breakfast. Small breakfast area with about 4 small tables and chair and a very loud tv (so that the receptionist is entertained). Breakfast menu consisted of 4 cereal options, instant oatmeal, instant grits, bagel, bread, banana, danish, mini muffins, coffe (regular or decaf) tea and a waffle maker with syrup, butter jam and creamcheese to spread. Not exactly continental and very boring. Oh and hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator Try to avoid staying here. I asked for a bottle opener at the front desk and they said they didn't have it and told me to go to a bar across the street!! Horrible horrible place...

The worst, rock-hard bed I've ever tried to sleep on ruined anything else the room offered, since I consider a good night's rest to be the most important thing required of a motel room. Day counter staff was personable and helpful but night staff was abrasive and rude. The room was kept very clean and everything worked as it should. The premises seemed safe and well lighted. But the bottom line is that my wife and I were both unable to sleep comfortably on either of the room's queen beds and had back-aches each morning. You have other choices in Stone Mountain ... pick one!

Very clean hotel, good location. Very friendly staff. The pillows were very uncomfortable. Just a couple of minutes from Stone Mountain. Very good food selection within a few miles.

Hotel is in a safe area - close to several restaurants. Very quiet location. Located just a couple miles from Stone Mountain main entrance and just fifteen to 25 minutes away from Atlanta sights. Room was clean, has internet wifi and many channels on tv. Also has refrigerator, microwave, safe deposit box, hair dryer, iron, and small coffee maker. Complimentary breakfasts consisting of waffles, cereal, pastries, coffee, orange juice, milk and eggs. For the price, it was a bargain of a deal. Do not be concerned with the safety of this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly.

Good location...not gated...close to food and shopping areas. Easy access to Stone Mountain

We stayed here as part of our visit to Stone Mountain park, hotel was ok, nothing great but nothing bad either. Furniture (mattresses, tv) was a bit dated but the room was clean. Continental breakfast was average as well.

Very confortable,restful. Price was right for a family getaway; near Stone Mtn Park.

Great location,very clean, good breakfast selection

I was attending a family wedding reception and although the hotel was not far from where the reception was being held, it was quite a distance from my cousins house which was in Henry County which is where I was looking to be close too. I ended up 20 something miles away form his house. I am assuming the rep did the best they could in locating a hotel in the area but I thought with the size of Atlanta there would have been a hotel closer.

The location was great. Many options for food were literally "around the corner"... The hotel was clean, and the room spacious, WiFi access was good... however, both beds suffered from TMS... Tired Mattress Syndrom. One bed slept like a hammock, while the other kept listing to port. I found myself having to scoot back from the edge. For the cost of the room, cleanliness, location, it got a good rating, would have been great if the beds would have been up to par.
