We stayed here to be close to where I had surgery. Everything about the Hotel was very pleasant. Clean, quiet, friendly & ... helpful personnel. Large, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast. Close to restaurants & shopping. I would highly recommend this hotel

Dave & Buster's is a fun place to kill time, and just a few minutes away by car. The airport is about a 25 minute drive, if you're lucky enough to avoid an Atlanta traffic jam.

Surprising Amenities at This Price

The Magnuson is the best value I've found in a hotel in a long time. I had to book a cheap room in the Atlanta area at the ... last minute... the Magnuson had good reviews and a king bed available for less than $40, so I booked it. When I entered the room, I was surprised to find that it was actually a suite with a living room separate from the bedroom (including a pull-out couch and second TV), kitchen sink, microwave, fridge, and free wi-fi. The furniture and bedding isn't as nice as in some of the more upscale chains, but at this price, I can't complain. The staff was very friendly, and the room ended up being everything I needed.

Great room for the price but why they'd have two worn out TV's to watch I can only guess. The picture tubes were shot, ... faded, and shifted all red. This couldn't be adjusted out and why they'd have two bad tv's in the same suite is just bad form.

This is my Atlanta hotel, it is in a great location, great price, no complaints what so ever, the staff is super friendly and ... I will always stay here when I visit Atlanta but make sure you pay the extra 10 bucks for the suite it is worth every penny if you are traveling with some one else, it's so nice to just have that extra room and television

The good stuff: Very convenient to the highway, restaurants, and gas stations, though hard to find. Very friendly staff. ... Clean rooms with windows that open. Interior doorways. Nice continental breakfast. Perfect for travelers needing an easy, safe, & clean stay as they pass through. The not so good stuff: The pool was closed for maintenance (though I didn't want to use it anyway) and the elevator needs air circulation (it smelled like every body that ever stood there....as well as any food they might have been carrying). I'm sharing all this because I read all the reviews on this hotel before I booked my room and appreciated the comments. It's true: Very clean stay for a very great price!

This hotel is really quiet kept secret. Me and my family travel from Columbus Ohio to Georgia for a funeral service. The ... hotel staff was nice and professional. Rooms were clean, and even had a indoor pool. Continental breakfast was just that, but also just enough for us. The location was excellant, we're not familiar with the city, but with this hotl right on I-75 made it very easy!!!

The GA aquarium, although it is a bit expensive, is way cool! And since it is in the downtown area, you can park your car there when you go to the aquarium and leave it there while you explore downtown and only pay the $10 flat rate.
