just ok, not worth the $$$
Went to Savannah for one day/night with the family. Kids are 11, 8 and 3. If you are wanting to go walk around by the river and in the neighborhoods, go shopping, etc, don't stay here. It's all the way at the end of River Street and it's just blah. The staff was friendly, of course, but for the $$$ it's absolutely not worth it. And this hotel so so so dated. We of course were put on a floor with no river view, which even amplified my disappointment in myself for booking this place. It was clean, but so dark and dated. The beds were not comfortable in the room we stayed in. If you want a nicer hotel room with easy walking access to the river front shops and activities, while still having easy walking access to the neighborhoods and parks and shops, please consider another hotel closer to Bull St and just off the water.

Aniversary disapointment
Hotel was nice other than the pubic hair found in the bathroom. The $18 additional fee charged for parking was ridiculous, the airport doesn't even charge $18 daily. I would understand a parking fee for non guests but that was ridiculous!

great bed, everything else-well
The hotel had a great location and comfortable bed. I have had better stays at other hotels for 1/3 of the price. The room was not clean, the a/c did not work, the hotel is listed as a 4+ star hotel but the rooms look as if they have not been redone in 15 years. The hotel did have wi-fi but you had to pay for it, as well as paying for parking ($18/night) and for $213+ per night I should not have to even think about trip add-ons. All that and the view the description gave for the room was a river view or a view of the atrium; I got the rooftop with a awesome view of the A/C units. I hate to hammer a place but for the price I paid I have stayed in 1st class accommodations and this was far from that and a better location that included breakfast.

Nice Hotel, friendly Staff
the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I didn't care for the outdoor pool area. It was small and unattractive. It also did not have any food or drink service by the pool area. The room was rated a 4 star, I would say that from my expereince, it would be a very nice 3 star hotel instead.

Savannah Riverfront Review
Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, but it was nice. Although there were many hotels that have better location than this, everything we did downtown was within walking distance. Savannah hotels are pricey accross the board, but $250 plus $18/day parking is a little too pricey for what you get. If you are going to spend $250 on a hotel I'd say why not do it with something in the heart of downtown and not on the northeastern tip of downtown.

Try any of the unique eateries. We ate at b. Matthews for lunch and Jazz'd for dinner. Great service at both and really good food. Would have loved to spend another day eating there.
