good experience nice room, good location, and enjoyed the stay

my sister n law and i enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Room not very clean. Hotel noisy heard people in the next room talking and snoring at night.

I was traveling from Augusta to Savannah for a triathlon and this was very close to the lake and affordable. The staff was all very unhappy looking and unfriendly except for the one housekeeper who barely spoke english but actually asked how I was doing and said hello. I asked for a smoke free room and got an ash tray. Otherwise, for a place to lay your head at night, it was fine. I'm glad I brought my own breakfast food because the breakfast was pretty weak. So if you just want a bed for night it's not too bad but other wise go ahead and spend the extra $10 somewhere else.

I went to visit family and it was in a good location. Close enough to be near them, but far enough to get some rest.

The stay was excellent. The location was just outside of the busy, city we were able to get some good rest. It was also close enough that you didn't feel like you were away from the city. The room was very clean and free of odors.

The hotel was easy enough to find, however the first room given to us on the third floor absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. We went back to check in and were given another room on the second floor. It didn't smell but had obviously been smoked in as there were burn marks on the T.V., dresser, vanity, etc. Hotel staff at the desk acted as if they were being bothered everytime someone approached the front desk. The breakfast area and selections were very good and they provided a continental breakfast with the room. Room rates were approximately $3.00 higher than initially quoted, then went up another $12.00 for a Fri/Sat night stay. As a result our total bill was approximately $30 higher than anticipated. The place was pet friendly so many of the guests had dogs with them which were better behaved than most of the children. I wanted to swim in the hotel pool but because other guests had numerous children that were turned loose in the pool, that didn't happen. For the money spent I wouldn't pick this place again but rather something a little more upscale.

When entering the room it should have a armoa smell. Not that it smell but a fragance.
