Amazing experience
The staff became our friends. Sam, Kevin & the ladies from M (the breakfast floor). Wine at 5:30 was was the best. Getting ice was slow at times but we figured it out. We were able to walk everywhere and the day we wanted to go to Tybee they found transportation for us. My daughter & I had a beautiful vacation.

pleasant and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at Planter's Inn. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was best we'd every had. And the wine and cheese in the afternoon added to the ambiance of the Inn. Although our room was rather small, it was comfortable pleasantly decorated. Had read some negative reviews about rooms located on the side across from the parking garage, but this was not a problem during our stay (even though it was right before St. Patrick's Day, which is a HUGE celebration in Savannah).

Nice Get Away
Everyone at Planters Inn made us feel so welcome, they went over and above making us comfortable. They were knowledgeable on the best places to eat and the entertainment in town. The Inns location was within walking distance of the Historical houses and we felt safe after dark. We will certainly go back!

Very enjoyable
We loved the ambiance of the area in Savannah, next door to the famous Pink House and two blocks from the river. Classical music at breakfast was great, as was the breakfast. The heating and air system in the room was super--- set the temperature and fan speed, and it was QUIET! Our room faced the parking garage where the valet service parked the car ($14/night added on the hotel bill). We did not hear noise from the garage in the middle of the night, but then again it was a Thursday night.

Fantastic room, amazing location
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Had a room with a balcony overlooking the square, giant windows, and an extremely comfy bed! Although one side of the room did look upon the car garage next door, the view out of the balcony windows made up for it, however I may opt out of the balcony for a room higher up next time to experience a true Savannah view. The complimentary wine and cheese tasting was scrumptious and we got to meet some great people and listen to some lively music from the piano player. Two thumbs up!

Ask the front desk about local ghost tours! We went on a ghost tour bar crawl and it was so much fun, plus we learned a lot about the history of Savannah.

nice location
This is a nice hotel, but there is a parking deck next door and after the 3 am bar closings, there is a tremendous amount of noise from the revelers coming back to their cars. We heard it both nights we stayed for about 20 min. A noisy wake up call when you are already alseep. Guess the walls and windows are thin The hotel itself was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice room. Great location, close to everything, walking distance to a lot which was great. We enjoyed our time in Savannah and will certainly be back.
