1. Maintanance man was apparently unhappy with his supervisor, and letting the girl behind the desk know it....in front of all the people checking in. 2. 1/2 roll of Toilet paper provided, I had to go to the desk to get a full roll 3. No trash can in the room 4. Reserved a non smoking room, comfortor smelled, cigarette ashes between the bed and the night stand. 5. While plugging in my alarm clock, noticed a LOT of trash behind the night stand. cig butts, gum wrappers ABC gum, etc 6. While I was there, someone broke in and emptied the vending machine of all candy and chips...during daylight!! 7. Cost was about 20.00 more than I thought it was going to be...could have stayed at a nicer place for that money. 8. Will NEVER stay there again.

A disappointment at best
Cleaning personnel left water dripping into a closed drain and standing water in tub upon arrival and after daily cleaning. No fire sprinklers. No towels available for second night of stay. Had to travel home unrefreshed. Reception area was clean and courteous personnel. Continental breakfast was very basic. Sheets on bed were very thin and both sheets and blankets had cigarette holes in them. This is a 2nd bad experience with a Red Roof Inn franchise. Needless to say, I have scratched this franchise off my list. Sofa bed looked like something picked up from the curbside. Very dirty!

Decent hotel for the price
Rooms were adequate, service was good, continental breakfast was about what you would expect. A number of hotels in the immediate Midtown/Abercorn area are very similar in price and quality. Red Rood Inn did a satisfactory job for a reasonable price. Our Savannah trip was about being out and about on the town, not luxuriating in the room.

Rough time at Red Roof
I was assigned to room 232, and was greeted with an unusual smell as I entered. I dismissed it as a possible cleaning solution. As I proceeded to make myself comfortable I noticed the condition of the rm was very shabby. The rugs needed to be replaced or at least vacuumed. The bathroom had visible dust on the floor and around the toilet area. The tub spout ran continuously , I could not ignore the the scent of the room. Then it hit me, the room smelled as if a large dog had lived in this rm for an extended time. I called the frt desk who w/o hesitation gave me another rm. When I informed the desk staff of my thoughts of a dog living in that rm, the staff person stated " thats a very real posibility". The prob with the new rm was that it had neither towels or wash clothes, the rugs were badly dis-colored and several of the electrical outlets did not work. The free breakfast is not worth the cost. Go to McDonalds!

No Refrigerator/Microwave in Non-King!
My boyfriend paid GOOD MONEY for this trip, taking the time to take me to the beach. We get there late, tired to our bones and, to my surprise, there's a gap where the refrigerator's supposed to be; forget the microwave, that's a moot point. I call them, and they check the size of our bed, which was a Queen, to which they tell me: "We only provide refrigerators in king-size deluxe suites. We've always done that" Interesting...that's not on THEIR website, or any other travel sites. Could that be b/c they don't WANT people to know?!? I guess that only those staying in King-Size Suites have things that need to be refrigerated, right? Also, they didn't care, and all Management cares about is "good press," so they didn't give a flip. In addition, we had the esteemed pleasure of being next door to a dog that barked ALL weekend long, while the owners seemed to be MIA A-L-L weekend long. "Pet-Friendly" my foot. I wish we had known this prior to booking, but NOWHERE does Red Roof Inn say: "We don't have refrigerators for Non-King Suites [b/c we assume that others don't have food that needs to be refrigerated]. If they're going to do that, then they don't DESERVE to charge what they charge. It makes no sense whatsoever, and even MOTELS have refrigerators. Also, there was a clog in the bathroom, and it wasn't as clean as it could have been. I'll sleep in the CAR before I EVER stay here again.

Good Enough
Good location close to stores and restaurants, and staff was sensitive to my needs. However, the carpet could stand a shampooing, light fixtures could use a little paint, and door peephole was cloudy. Overall, it was a clean room and everything worked properly.
