Wonderful time in Savannah at the Hilton Garden

We loved Savannah, an incredibly beautiful city! The Hilton Garden was perfectly situated just across City Market & so near to the river. Our room was big, comfortable & decorated with taste for a chain hotel. I used the gymn, heated pool & spa every day. The staff was nice & eager to help, especially the concierge who gave us good advice & organized things for us. All around we felt really pampered at the hotel.

Surprise Trip to Savannah

This hotel was a great choice! Great location - close to everything. The staff was polite and extremely accommodating. Our only issue was the treadmill was out of order but they offered us the use of the workout room at the Double Tree across the street - that worked put well!

Ms. Wilkes great restaurant for good down home cooking. Paula Deen's is one dining experience you should pass on - food was so salty it was not edible - very disappointing.

Central to everything!

Room was really nice w/ high ceilings and huge window! Walk a cross the street to City Market or River Street, which are the two places you wanna be. Perfect if your there to see the historic houses and buildings. I could not have been happier with this location!!!

Vic's on the River on River street is the perfect romantic dinner spot. The corner pizza place at the city market is full of character. For a longer stroll through the historic neighborhood go to Gryphon on Bull St. Unique!

fabulous concierge help

My son and I stayed here for our 2 nights in Savannah. The location was fantastic; everything was within walking distance. Because our time was limited and we wanted an overview of the area, the concierge recommended a tour which we thoroughly enjoyed and were able to get on and off all day. That was fantastic. The only negative was that because our room faced a busy street (Bay) it was noisier than we had hoped. I guess Bay is a huge thoroughfare for that area, so semi trucks go down there all night long. I would have loved to have breakfast included as well, but the concierge recommended a local place that was fantastic. She even remembered my name, and I have a very difficult last name! She walked us to our tour bus even!

Try "Goose Feathers" : we ate there twice for breakfast. Very good and affordable. Sampled Moon pies for the first time-we had the pumpkin. SOOO good!

Great getaway

This hotel was in a perfect location. We were in walking distance to Market Street as well different restaurants. Also the hotel had a great breakfast menu so that if you wanted to stay in you could just walk downstairs to eat
