Country Hearth Inn Savannah

The place said it had a pool... Didn't mention that it didn't have any water in it. The bathroom ceiling had mold growing on it. The tub had a hole in the bottom of it covered with a matt. The room stunk... Had an odor. The bed felt like springs. The towels had stains. The room and halls were dimly lit. The walls were canary yellow and didn't even have any pictures hanging up. But the building looked good from the exterior if you could see past the 3 ft high grass.

our trip was great.. so loved the area and the island i will go back real soon if possible!!!BUT now the Hotel we were going to stay in was this country hearth inn and OGM as soon as was walk into the building it was smeeling bad and the hallways were so very dark ... moving into the room i smelled sooo bad like cig. and the bed was like a rock so hard there be way way of sleeping on it . looking into the bathroom mild was in the bathtub.they had a pool but no water in it !!.needless to say as fast as we walk in we walk right back out and went to another hotel across the street .. please do ur self a favor and dont even try this hotel at all !!

nothing seemed particularly clean, and some things (like the sheets) were very very not clean. but it really was cheap, i suppose you get what you pay for.

The pool did not have water in it. Its not the thing as the internet said it was...

Our reservation was made last minute, and we checked in at 11pm. [...] the clerk that checked us in was nice and gave us a room with two beds because even though our reservation was for a non-smoking room, they didnt actually have any. The room looked fine when we first got there, but it was late and we were very tired. In the morning we went to take a shower and pulled back the shower curtain to find a tub that had obviously not been cleaned in quite a while ( mold, mildew, debris, GROSS!) Needless to say my small children didn't get a bath. Check the bathrooms is all I gotta say.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Country Hearth Inn was the sign stating, NO REFUNDS AFTER 30 MINUTES. I should have ran away after that, becuase it definitely IS that kind of hotel. I went ahead and my husband and I checked in and went to our room. There were carvings all over the headboard, cigarette burns in the comforter, the smoke detector was missing and wires were hanging from the ceiling where it should be. After seeing two huge spiders and mold all over the bathtub, my husband and I IMMEDIATELY checked out! Worst hotel I have EVER seen! It doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating!

I had a bad experience at this motel. It wasn't close to anything we wanted to do in Savannah. The room wasn't very nice. The parking lot was scary. The main reason I booked the room was for the pool and it was green and looked like the swamp thing would climb out. The continental breakfast consisted of bad coffee and several weeks old hard, powdered donuts. The rate on the sign out front was cheaper than what I paid. Even for the low rate I would never stay there again nor would I suggest it to any other traveler.

it was very affordable that is why we picked this hotel but we though it would at least be nice like the pictures we saw. of course i guess that is why the saying goes "you get what you pay for". thankful we were only having to stay 1 night. it served its purpose but that was it.

This hotel experience was nothing out of the ordinary.

It just plain smelled. Begal and powdered donuts is not a continental breakfast. And the pool was green!
