In room fridge had left over ice cream not removed and leaked all over carpet under unit. Glad I didn't have to clean it up!!

Helpless Night Manager

Checking in, I was given a double bed room, and not the King bed room that I had reserved, and when walking into the bathroom, an unfinished electrical project was in progress. When I went back to the front desk, a.) I was told that if I wanted a King room, I should have called them and not booked online and b.) no other King rooms were available. In the second room, the fridge was broken and again, I had to talk to Miss Happy at the desk about that and ended up waiting another day before it got replaced. Overall, disapppointed with the staff, room was average but clean, and I never got the King room I reserved. I would recommend the ownership go room to room and actually make a punch list of items that need attention with the staff and secondly, help the staff understand that people who travel long distances look forward to getting what they expect and deserve, and get rid of the attitude when you don't/can't provide it.

Perfect Stop-over

Heading south for the winter on New Year's Eve, and this was the perfect stopover. Quiet, clean, and the most comfortable bed. They even served us breakfast before the second leg of our journey the next day.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Had nice hot eggs and sausage patties to eat. That is a rarity. Especially for that price.

Undergoing renovations

Affordable, clean; friendly service. Excellent breakfast for the price point. Easy interstate access; close to gas stations. Confirm if requesting a non-smoking room; the odor in ours was very, very strong. Issues with the door locking mechanism and room blew a fuse when blowdryer was plugged in. But, the property is undergoing renovation and - again - for the money, it was respectable.

Great Bargain!

The room was nothing special but you can't beat the price. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and did I already mention that the price was outstanding. The location was pretty good because it's right off I-95. There's plenty of places to eat nearby and also has all the shopping spots. I would definately stay there again.

This was just an over night stop an the way to somewhere else, but the staff made us feel like we were family. The room was spotless, and anything we needed was easily avalible. A variety of food was close to the hotel.

Adequate, but not outstanding in any way.

The Econo Lodge was adequate, but the A/C unit barely kept the room cool, very noisy. The comforters were well worn, and the furniture was sort of shabby. It is indeed an older facility that has seen a little updating. The entry door allows light all around, and fits poorly. We utilize motels in the Richmond Hill area a couple of times yearly, due to it being close to Savannah, and convenient without being crowded. Will probably stay again, however not if the rates go much beyond the current one, due to the age and overall condition of the motel.
