Wingate by Wyndham Savannah I 95 North

I had a wonderful time. Everyone was accommodating.

Overall, it was an :"okay" place to stay. Far enough from Savannah that it was not crowded, yet close enough to get to anything I wanted to do within 15 minutes. My first 15 minutes were NOT good. The front desk gave me the key to a room that had not been cleaned. There was trash and unmade beds. They quickly remedied this situation and the room that I was given (without towels) was comfortable and nice. It was not a new hotel and there were signs of normal wear and tear but it was sufficient and I felt comfortable and safe, as a woman traveling alone. The staff was accommodating and helpful with 'things to do in Savannah'. I would stay there again. I'll just make sure to order extra towels!!

The room and bed were quite comfortable for the price. The breakfast was fine. The staff was very nice - particularly the gal taking care of the breakfast buffet. The only issue was the overpowering smell of cleaning solution (or whatever they use) when you first come into the room. It wears off after awhile.

The staff were great. The lovely young woman(Jemese ?) behind the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. She had to redo the key cards for us a couple of times by hand. That was my major complaint. Their key card system was not up to par due to an earlier storm that knocked out the main system. Also the hotel could use a bit of sprucing up. Our room looked a little neglected. The bathroom had rust at the lower outside corner of the tub and the toilet flusher was broken. Other than that, our little maltese was welcomed warmly, the jacuzzi was great but a bit too warm, and the breakfast (included) was excellent. I gave it 4 stars mainly for the staff and the comfortable beds. By the way, this is next to a train track but the hotel is so sound proofed, you will never hear it.

This hotel was good. The room was nice, it could use a few upgrades.

Great location. Just off I-95 next to cheapest gas station in area. On the east side of I-95, away from the seedier motel area west of the interstate. Less than 5 miles from towne center area 2 exits south on I-95. Room was nice and spacious and my bed and pillows were comfortable, a rare thing in my travels. Need to upgrade the in-room TVs and the gym equipment. Neither are up to par.

This hotel is fine. It was close to River Street which was our reason for taking this trip. There are a few exits that had more dining options but they were also just down the road. If you are looking for a place to spend a quiet weekend (even with the truck stop across the street) this is it. The "hot" breakfast wasn't that great but there was a MCD's and Waffle House close by. The only problem we had was the slow drain in the shower. That got a little annoying. I don't like standing in dirty water even if the dirt came off of me. Other than that the hotel staff was nice and friendly and very helpful with directions and questions. For the price the hotel was great.

From the check in to check out and everything in between was seamless. At first I wansnt too for sure on this locaion, but over all very satisfied with staff. the location is right of 95 south and 10 mintues or so from downtown.
