never again

At best it was less than acceptable, about the only good thing about this hotel was the AC worked. The bed was not comfortable, the toilet did not flush correctly, lots of noise in the room from others tvs and stomping feet. TV reception was not good, when in the shower you knew when another guest ran water, went from hot to cold to hot to acceptable. Take a short shower. The complimentary breakfast was meager at best. A couple celections of cereal, a few dognuts and when you could get them off the cell phone they would make a waffle. Pool was only open from 10AM to 9PM.

FABULOUS for the cost!

Amazing for the price! Great spot for people who are just looking to overnight (as we were) during a roadtrip, or just to visit friends nearby (granted you don't stay in the hotel too much). Overall, a great deal for your money - you get what you pay for. Neither my boyfriend nor I are picky hotel-stayers so this option was great for the money!

Good choice if passing thru Macon I-475

Traveling to Alabama from Florida and decided to overnight in Macon to split driving time to two days. This hotel is right off the main highway so its perfectly located for an overnight. Best value for the price.

NOT as advertised!

First I have to say that the staff was very nice. However, that does not make up for inferior accomodations. After booking online, I called to tell them I would be arriving late. So they knew when I was arriving and had plenty of time to make sure everything was ready. Upon arrival I found out that I was on a second floor room with only stairs (I recently had knee surgery) with no other option, and was not told this at the time of booking. So I struggled up the stairs with my luggage, then walked into a 100-degree oven, at 11:30 at night--housekeeping had turned off the A/C! I called the front desk, who assured me the room would cool quickly, but I could tell from the meager air coming out it would take hours. I asked them for a fan, and after 15 minutes of dripping sweat they brought a small desk fan. Still, it took OVER AN HOUR for my room to cool off enough for me to sleep, and I had to depart early the next morning, so I did not get the full night's rest I should have had. Here is what was NOT as advertised: *wireless access: I was never offered the code, and did not receive it after I asked for it. *microwave-minifridges: the fridge was moldy and the freezer compartment was missing its door. *25" TV: at most it was 23", and it was BLURRY because it was so old. Needed replacing. *2 HBO: NO HBO to be found--local access channel instead--didn't they pay their bill?? *In addition, we serve a complimentary continental breakfast every morning with fresh HOT waffles: yes there were fresh hot waffles, but I saw no fruit, the juice machine was broken so only room-temp orange juice, and cheap unhealthy prepackaged pastries. Additionally, I could scrape the white scummy crust off my bathtub with my fingernail, it did not drain well so I was standing in 3 inches of water during my shower, and twice during my 10-minute shower the hot water cut out, leaving it cold and without enough pressure to rinse anything for half my entire shower! Ah, and if you weigh more than about 150 pounds, good luck finding a (scratchy, thin, old) towel that will actually fit around your waist--if you're a woman, you probably won't find anything to make it around your chest OR hips! And these skimpy towels are what you're supposed to use for the pool, too. Since I was exhausted upon arrival in my 100-degree room, I didn't feel like trying to get any of this corrected at midnight. The fact is, I've never had so many things wrong in one hotel room. I am not a nitpicker and will certainly let one or two things slide, but I feel I should not have paid for this experience. I just hope I don't get sick from the black mold on the fridge seal.

There is a big shopping center nearby with buffets, grocery store, Starbucks, etc., and I think a Target as well.

man in parking lot

Nice to have a shower instead of a tub. Room was nice but man in parking lot on back side of building was a bit uneasy. Everything turned out ok and enjoyed one night stay and value was good.
