La Quinta Inn & Suites Macon

Perfect location for our visit to an area Dr. It was close to some shopping to kill some time and had good restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable.

This La Quinta esceeded our expectations for a night on the road. It is quite nice and clean with a good continental breakfast. Don't let the location (just off of I-75) scare you off. No road noise and very secure. We were pleasantly surprised.

Great room . Nice location. Very clean. Would go back any time. I think I would look at the same chain in other places too.

Stayed just one night while traveling with children. Very spacious room and bathroom. Staff very prompt with request for rollaway bed. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Very ample breakfast.

We just stayed overnight in order to visit family who did not have enough room for us at their home. We used to live in Macon, so knew the area, but in any case, hotel was easy to find and get to, and close to lots of things you might need or want. Not in the room very long, but it was very quiet, clean, and bed was one of the best we've slept on, even better than ours at home. No complaints and would stay there again without hesitation.

This a good traveler's hotel. Room was good sized and well lit. Bathroom was large, shower powerful with a good spray. Mattress comfortable. Cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was fine. Nothing hot, but a self service waffle iron. Only deficiency was that the television was old tube type.

We were in town for one night. The service was friendly and they did their best to meet our needs. The room was a little worn from use and the continental breakfast...well lets just say me and the kids didn't enjoy it.

Arrived in town at 5PM. Needed to change for convention that started at 5:30. Our room was not ready so we had to change in a meeting room. The front desk staff was not helpful and seemed to care less. There was another employee that was nice and found the room for us. When they had our room shortly before we left for the convention, our door keys didn't work. And then, they put us in a VERY nasty smoking room even though we reserved a non-smoking room. We suffered through the night and my eyes were almost swollen shut in the morning. (I didn't have any idea that I was that sensitive.) Not to mention the SUV parked outside our window with a sensitive alarm that went off twice and the drunks knocking on our door at 3:00 AM. (Yes, the last two events they had no control over.) Thankfully, the lady at the front desk in the AM swithced our room to a non-smoking room. She also upgraded us to a suite which was fairly nice. [...] Bottom line, I wouldn't stay here again unless I knew they weren't totally booked and I knew that the two front desk employees that I mentioned were no longer working there. I could say more but you get the idea. The pool area was nice enough and the location was convenient.

We were in Macon to see the cherry trees before the festival started. This was a very convenient , clean place to stay. We would certainly stay there again if we come back to Macon

Excellent room. We really liked the access to the central outdoor area from the room. Also, there was every kind of restaurant one could want near there from Cheddar's to Outback to McDonald's.
