Great Place
It was excellent, the only thing that upset me is I didn't know it was pet friendly, I have three Shi Tzu's that would have loved the beach. I think they knew it as they didn't act as excited to see me as they usually are.

All in All Good Stay
Any location on Jekyll Island is close to everything else. By far the best hotel on the island. Sure you have the Jekyll Island Club from a historic perspective, but for up-to-date facilities, the Hampton is the place to be. A big plus for us is that it sits a dune away from the beach. When we return we'd stay there. The only issue we had with the hotel is that it is pet friendly. We too love dogs, but dogs weren't meant to be left in the room all day. A little too noisy from that perspective.

All the right moves.
The service was great, we had a great stay, and enjoyed the pool and other amenities. The staff was more than friendly and the atmosphere was secluded but close to fabulous resturants. The Hampton knows how to "do it".

BEAUTIFUL FACILITY;QUIET GETAWAY ISLAND
HOTEL IS OCEANFRONT BUT NOT OCEANVIEW; BOARDWALK ALLOWS ACCESS TO OCEAN OVER BEAUTIFUL SAND DUNES. ROOMS ARE LARGE,VERY CLEAN AND WELL-APPOINTED. JEKYL ISLAND IS VERY QUIET. WE ENJOYED A VISIT TO NEIGHBORING ST. SIMON'S ISLAND FOR MORE TO DO.

A great time.
We were at first disappointed that there was no ocean view available, but once we stepped onto the boardwalk that led to the ocean, we were more than happy. It felt like a gorgeous secret pathway. At night, they lit the fire pit next to the pool which was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free hot breakfast was appreciated. The hotel is pet-friendly, so we were able to bring along our little dog for her first venture to the beach. The hotel is also next to a nice park which we took shady strolls in. We all had a very good time.

St. Simons Island is just over the beautiful Sydney Lanier suspension bridge. Eat at Iguana's for the best shrimp. Lots of shopping, eating, and sightseeing.
