My room had all the caulk removed from around the toilet and was just laying in a big pile on the floor. There was a socket pulled out of the wall just dangling. It looked like it hadn't been dusted in months
visiting soldier... ill stay at a better hotel next trip
it is past 1am and i haven't slept yet. first, my non smoking room is between 2 smoking rooms. my room has a direct side door into a smoking room so the smoke is filtering into my room. there were men drinking and lounging by my door and in front
of my children. the fan/ac is loud one minute and kicks off loud again, waking family. my favorite part - the ghetto german roaches! no joke! will not take my bags in house when i get home because i dont want them. now, back to the drunken men, they are still out and making as much noise as possible. no help to stop them.
I don't see my other review AND have additional info so here goes. First, the non smoking rooms are in between smoking rooms with attached doors so it leaks into the non smoking room. German roaches EVERYWHERE and they get REALLY bad during the
night. Next, drunken men sitting in front of the rooms (that aren't even theirs) and dirty children running everywhere. It looked like a grungy motel with people living there. The front check in area was nice.. what happened! Music ALL night with shouting up and down the walkways. Strange men EVERYWHERE. When call was made at 1am to the front desk the woman replied that she would ask maintainance to ask them to be quiet. WHAT!? The air units are loud and click on and off every few minutes and sleep is impossible. This morning when leaving I noticed a small building that looked like a restaurant was actually a STRIP CLUB right next door! That explains the scary men lurking around and staring at myself and my teen daughter. Upon check out, I mentioned the issues again and got a smile, chuckle and an apology. Do yourselfs a favor and don't stay anywhere near this area because the other 2 hotels right here didn't show much hope either.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
If you want a strip club next door then this is your place. GROSS!
I got in town earlier than I thought I would and I knew checkin wasn't till 3pm, but I went in at about 12:30pm and the woman at the front desk didn't just say "no" she checked and saw that my room was ready and let me checkin early with out any
extra charge! The room was VERY clean and very nice! Pool was nice but closed. I will always book my stays here!
