Dalton hotel near Chattanooga offers free breakfast and Internet access

Great spot off I-75
The rooms are on the smaller size - cozy for a family of 4. Newer plasma/led televisions. Great location near many restaurant choices - we hopped on and off the e-way on a trip down to FL. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice, but needed to be skimmed. I am not sure if the filter could keep up, but I grabbed the skimmer and cleaned some good size bugs off the top. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and we plan to stop here again.

Ordinary
Room was quietly located above and away from the highway. Room was ordinary for a hotel room. Breakfast was lacking attention.

A good place to stay
I was happy with my stay and that was mostly due to the friendly staff who helped me when I needed it. I came to Dalton to race the Carpet Capital 10 miler in Varnell. The Jameson was a little pricey but a safe place for a single woman. I chose this hotel because I wanted a microwave, fridge and coffee maker (I bring the strong brew) in my room to make my own food. I did eat some oatmeal from their breakfast bar which seemed adequate.My room was clean and comfortable. Mostly I was thrilled with the late check out granted me to accomodate my race schedule.

First time with the chain of hotels
The staff was the friendliest we had ever encountered. The hot breakfast at our location was very good. This was our first stay at this chain of hotels, and we will be looking for this hotel when we travel again.

Jameson Inn Dalton, GA
Everything was as expected. I checked in at 3 a.m. due to travel delays and the front desk person was there to quickly get me in my room. No problems. Plan to stay there again (this was my second stay in the past 6 months) when in the area.

Furniture needs upgrading
The people at the front desk were very friendly and eager to please. The only real negative was the chair in the room was so nasty. Hadn't been cleaned in years, or so it looked. I wouldn't sit in it. My brother was with me and had another room and his chair was just as nasty. Something really needs to be done about that.

Everything as expected except that some of the equipment in the fitness center was broken. I paid a mid- to low range price and was well pleased with the hotel itself for that problem. But the equipment needs to be kept working.

The beds were super! Great night's rest

Christmas Travel
At the end of a long day of traveling with our dog we were greeted with warm smiles, welcoming and friendly conversation and thoughtfulness with our pet. Our room was very clean, had everything we could want and was peaceful and quiet and a wonderful night sleep in an extremely comfortable bed. We will always look for a Jameson Inn when we travel in the future.
