worst night ever
musty smell as we walked in, the sheets were dirty as well as the as the bathroom, carpey, the furniture. the room was non smoking and everything smelled like smoke. Seems like the cleanning person works for free because hehe or she doesnt do anything. my wife got a allergy attack and we ended up leaving after 20 minutes of being there.

DON'T GO THERE!
The rooms were not marked on the outside though we were not told of this. This was a weekly and monthly rental hotel in a less than desirable location. There were only 2 towels, 2 washcloths and 1 hand towel and NO hair dryer. The outside door was a glass panel door and was kind of scary. We left at 5:30 am. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Green Pool
We did not actually stay at the hotel. When walking into the hallway it smelled of mildew/cat urine. Room looked clean & okay, but no toilet paper or towels were in the room. Went to check out the pool, but it was green & you couldn't see through it, kids could not swim in it. Left, but hotel refused a refund, told us we had to contact [...].

In Transition
The Econo Lodge Dalton Georgia is in transition. I believe it was recently re-opened and it is rough around the edges. The room we received was fine for the money we paid. It had a mini-fridge and microvave and enough space to move around comfortably. The bed was firm and comfrotable. The cintinental breakfast was basic, we opted not to partake. The hotel is around th ecorner from Highway 75. It was an easy drive to Chattanooga and back to our hotel.

Not what we expected
We arrived late. The check in was fast but when we arrived at our room we found chipped paint on the door frames and door to the bathroom. The curtains were open to the patio door. There were stains on the patio door that gave the impression of blood. When trying to move one of two chairs at a small table the arm fell off. There was no coffee pot in the room. The contenintal breakfast was glazed donuts or cereal. The lobby was maintained better than the rooms.
