Poor Performing Hotel

The stay was due to a missed connecting flight through Atlanta due to severe weather. The front desk staff was poor, barely talking to me. The person I contacted on the phone gave me information on the phone about shuttle service that, when contacting the driver of the shuttle that I was to take, refused because he had enough business through his own hotel and didn't take me. I had to pay a $10 tip with a different hotel shuttle to get him to take me to this hotel. They don't have their own shuttle. The next morning, the shuttle was a commercial party bus and the driver said that the shuttle was paid for through tips only. He suggested a large tip. At 5 am, getting on a party bus after almost no sleep, I wasn't feeling very generous. The sleeping room was within 50 feet of Interstate 85 and the noise from the traffic wasn't muffled much by the 6th floor elevation. The bed was like a brick - I would have done better to sleep on the floor, but then, there was the carpet - let's just say, I didn't take my shoes off!

amenities ? don't trust what you read !

I booked this hotel due to the amenities listed. the indoor pool...noooo it's not open, and won't be for me entire visit. the breakfast...2 out of 4 days. the room key well it didn't work and had to be changed 4 times during my stay. every time I went back to the room the key card didn't work. the staff, although pleasant all acted as if they were on their first day inside the hotel. my length of stay was mistaken 3 times. the paperwork said I was leaving that day...on all 4 days someone was saying ''I have you as checking out today'' ....the ice machine ''out of service'' had to go to the 7th floor for that. the atm machine ''out of service''...nobody knows anything about anything when you ask. it's as if you're from a different planet. honestly, all I could do is laugh eventually....lol.

Biker on the Move

This hotel is in a great location directly off of Highway 285. There are plenty of stores and restaurants along the busy strip that the hotel is located on. The room was spacious and clean. Only really two issues were that I arrived with a large party and one of our party was given a room twice that was already occupied by someone else. Also, the breakfast was not too tasty and the cook sat down to eat in the dining area while supposedly keeping the table stocked with food.

Highly NOT recommended

Have had bad experiences with staffs, room cleanliness, etc.. not worth for a 3 star hotel.

Cheap, but get what you pay for

It took us forever to check in. They only had one person working the front desk, and we were told that is how it always is. They needed more help up front. It seemed like they had people available to help out but none of them took it upon themselves to help out the one person that was working. As a result, many guests had to wait quite a while to either check in or resolve an issue. Room was reasonably priced but it smelled like some heavy smokers had the room before us. We got what we paid for.

I wonder

Before I arrived at the hotel I called and asked for extra towels when I arrive. So you'd think the guy put me in the system. I thought wrong. On top of that they have a strict check in policy, no earlier then 3 pm unless you want to pay $20. So we sat and waited. Upon returning to check in the guy asked me to wait an additional 5 minutes to put me in the system. By this time we were getting agitated and notice the hotel had an unusual odor. Something like mold is the only way to describe it. Anyways I waited for 30 mins and went back to the counter because the guy never came and got me. And still was not in the computer so I wait and finally got a room. The rooms weren't bad. No extra towels, had some issues getting the AC to work but finally had some luck. The next morning I went to get the free continental breakfast. Powder donuts and coffee. For $8 you can get eggs and bacon or sausage. There's a Waffle House down the street to get your money's worth.

Dirty and a little scary

Our flights were cancelled from the Ice storm and we needed a place to rest for about 8hrs. Price looked OK at $69 (there were several cheaper) and it had a free shuttle and was 10 minutes from the airport. The reviews were at 3 stars. Wow! that was misleading!! Pro's : 1)Shuttle was quick both ways. 2)close to airport. 3)Linen was clean 40 Bathroom seemed nice and up to date (but could have been just a little cleaner) Con's: 1)Carpets throughout the hotel were warn out and dirty 2)Found wadded up paper next to the bed in plain sight 3)Bulb burnt out in room lamp 4)The bar seemed like a local hangout 5)We were directed to a room in back to get coffee in the morning. All we found was last night's buffet that was not cleaned up and a large steal coffee pot with a red light on. We were not sure if there was coffee in it since there were no cups, spoons, cream or sugar. 6)We were asked if we wanted 2 beds or a king. We said king but when we got to the room there were 2 twin beds. 7) Around midnight we were awoken by the noise of 2 guys opening our room door!! Luckily we had the safety lock on so they could not open the door all the way! The person at the desk gave them the same room and key as they gave to us. Scary! How can this hotel get a 3 star review??

Unbelievable!

OMG! Worst hotel ever! Nevermind the fact that it's hard to find a parking spot due to the late night weekend Hip-Hop parties. Each day we had to call the front desk to request our room to be cleaned. They were unapologetic and had an attitude. Apparently if you place a do not distrub sign on the door and then remove it at about 10 a.m. when you go to brunch, it means you are waving your right to have your rooom cleaned that day! Unbelievable. After we called the first day to state our room needed cleaning we left for dinner and came back and the room was still undone and since it was late we just went to bed. The next day when we returned from lunch and the room was skipped again after much arguing they begrudgingly cleaned the room, while I sat there and watched. I had no trust in the staff at this point. NEVER AGAIN!

Hotel was fine, some staff need a new attitude

Upon arrival at the airport I was greeted by Wadiya-Adero, the morning van driver. She was hands down the friendliest nicest person in the world and without her I would not have had a positive experience with staff. The front desk attendant acted like allowing me to check in early when rooms were available was like pulling teeth, despite the fact I called a few days in advance and they said it would be perfectly fine for my check in day. The afternoon van driver was late by 30 minutes leaving for the airport. The hotel itself was in a great location and the rooms were above average for comfort, they do not however get ESPN which was surprising. Overall, decent experience, staff needs to have a more customer first attitude however.

ONE NIGHT

Great room layout. Enjoyed the stay. Smoke-free but had a few smokers hanging around the entrance door.
