It was raining the night we check in. I had made reservation a month ago. I didn't have a problem with my room. The staff was nice. The room was clean, warm and comfort. The room fit my stay just to be closer to the airport overnight.
If I have to
travel again for overnight I would stay again.
hotel is close to airport, though it is bit noisy, but for one night stay for the early flight, it's good place for choose. the best part I like is the very good free shuttle from and to the airport, almost 24hours.
The runway lights shine in the room if you are on the outer rooms. Planes fly so low you feel like you could touch them, gives a whole new meaning to "close to airport". They come and go every 3-7 minutes....all night. At the end of the parking
lot is a railway...trains pass every 20-30 minutes. The interstate is right across the street, could literally throw a rock and hit it. Furniture was a moshpit of goodwill donations. No elevator, cant call what they consider a continental breakfast anything other than total lack of. Would say more but trying to follow the rules here for a review. Please read between the lines on this one!
This is good if you want to stay close to the airport and dont mind the noise from the planes. Nice staff and nice rooms. I expected a bit more from the breakfast but it was ok. It was great that they have free shuttle service from and to the
This is not a hotel for stays over 2 nights but it's a great stop gap if you have an early flight and need to be close to the airport. Wifi is good and the room is clean enough. If you're bothered by the sound of planes taking off you might want
to stay elsewhere.
My stay at the Days Inn was TERRIBLE! Where do I begin? When I first checked in I went to my room and all but one of the power outlets were working. I had the choice of working online in the dark or use the one working light so I can see. I went
to the staff to report the issue. They went to the room to check out the issue and decided to move me into another room. I figured everything should be working in the room. So, I moved my entire luggage into that room. Bad Idea, only one outlet in the room was working as well. At this point I'm frustrated and call the staff to report the issue. They once again move me to another room. They didn't offer to move any of my luggages, so I had to move it again. At this point I’m sweating. 3rd time is the charm! Finally I'm a room with working outlets. Success, I call the staff to let them know. The man that picked up said that he went into the 2nd room and the outlets are working, but he wanted me to switch back to the room 2nd room. I refused and told him I wasn't about to move all my stuff for the 4th time. I should not have to deal with this issue. What happens next blew my mind. The guy hangs up on me. I immediately call him back, but he didn’t pick up. I try again and another person picks up and I tell him what his staff member did, but he failed to do anything about the situation. I will never stay at a Days Inn ever again. This cracked me up this is the first line of their mission statement "As our guest, you can expect warm hospitality and clean, comfortable rooms WHERE EVERYTHING WORKS to make your stay trouble-free and enjoyable..." My stay was nothing close to enjoyable.
