Weekend Stay for sons Graduation
All staff was plesaant and very helpful. Our room was better than expected.We were able to sit at the pool while the wheather permitted. However, the only problem we had was being unable to obtain the free wifi. they have a 24/7 help line but no one answered. Would stay agian. .

Mini Family Getaway
Location was perfect (located right at the exit of I-95). The hotel is still "new" looking too! We enjoyed the breakfast. Good selection. Only thing was the temp. in dining area was 82 degrees @ 9am :( When no one was looking, I hit the A/C to 76. There were too many people in there to be uncomfortable. There was not enough water pressure to shower either. No matter what time ya took one! Also, NO exhaust fan in bathrooms either :( It will only be a matter of time before mold/mildew sets in. The A/C did not cool it off in there either. A/C system in room was ok. The bed really blocks good air flow. Beds are a little too firm for me, but the comfort of decent sheets & towels was good!! We would go back. The pool has NO shade and is located at back of building. VERY SMALL too! There were NO umbrellas to have relief from sunshine :(

Was not too impressed with eating at Barbara Jeans out on St. Simons Island. Food was not that good for the price :( Everything out there was WAY overpriced for that matter! Things they sell at home in Jacksonville, were 2 times to 2 1/2 times more!!!

It was a good location for Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island. I would stay there again.
Overall it was a good experience. The pool was nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Brunswick area.

This hotel was very nice and like new, right off exit of I-95. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and clean and breakfast was good. The only thing I didn't like was the walls are very thin and you can hear entire conversations in the next room. We were fortunate the first 2 nights, but the last night we were woken early by crying baby Also, not the hotels fault, but the pool is closed due to new law in GA that pool may not be opened unless it has a wheelchair lift

Definitely a Best Western PLUS!
You could tell that this was a Best Western Plus rather than a regular Best Western. We stopped there on our way from Savannah to Florida. Breakfast was good. The fitness center was well equipped. We didn't use the pool, but it looked sort of small.

has potential, but apathetic staff
My family and I checked in late; the staffer Marcis did a great job checking us in quickly. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Preparing for the day the following morning, we found that the hair dryer did not work, the iron leaked water all over, and the ironing board was just grimy and ragged, obviously older than the hotel. When I checked out on Saturday March 24, the tattooed female staffer on duty was indifferent and sort of rude. I'd imagine three next occupant of that room will have the same experience.
