Good value for the price
I spent a day of fun in the Brunswick area visiting some friends. This hotel provided everything I would have expected and had a friendly and courteous staff.

Easy access off the highway, well marked. At check-in my prepaid reservation was not in their system and only by luck was one room available. Friendly and helpful staff even with the foul up.

Great overnight stop on 95
Easy to get to right off of 1-95; clean, comfy beds & good thick towels- seemed fairly new; quick check-in & out worked out perfectly for us

New hotel
This hotel was nice and new - I was impressed that the acoustics were great. Some hotels, you can hear your neighborhood talking on the phone...this place was well built as it was very quiet. My only small complaints was breakfast ends at 9am. When your on vacation, I don't want to have to get up early to eat. 10am would be so much better. Also, apparently I reserved a handicapped room on accident (the description said large room) -- and the front desk clerk continued to make a big deal about it. Making rude comments about a parking spot not being included..blah, blah, blah. It was silly the big deal she made about it...more than once.

Doesn't seem to be any food places nearby...but just go down the road about 2 miles and there is the mall with an Applebees (service was TERRIBLE), a Golden Corral and other fast food places.

It was a terrific hotel. During our travel time, we stayed at 3 other hotels without reservations, and all were good, but not better than the Baymont and were a minimum of $30.00 more per night.

Brunswick, Ga. Baymont
The room had great decor, but the walls were thin and you could hear many things in the evening. The breakfast bar was a nice experience for the price point. Overall I would come back, but might ask to be at the end of the hall.

Perfect weekend
Awesome hotel! The staff was very friendly, the room was so nice and clean. Close to dining, shopping, St. Simons Island, Jeckyll Island. I will definately stay there again the next time I'm in Brunswick.
