Price gouging at it's worst!
We have stayed at Microtels before and they were above average to outstanding. This was a $49.95 hotel priced at $275.00 + tax. I had to call the desk clerk to request a hair dryer. The breakfast room contained 3 tables and 4 chairs. The bedroom was so small you could hardly walk around in it. It didn't have a desk or chair or any "nice" features. no blankets, only sheets, 2 pillows ( I will say they were clean). The carpet was beyond filthy, what little furniture they had was shabby and damaged. I would NEVER stay there again. camping would be better. They were taking advantage of The Master's week in Augusta. This hotel is a disgrace to the Microtel brand.

Interesting
Staff was helpful, however the rooms were not as promised on the internet. I was later informed that only certain rooms had the ammenities as advertised. It was ok

Mostly great
Breakfast was a joke...slices of bread, boiled eggs, and one brand of cereal only. Hot tub room was great, no complaints there, wifi sucked.

STOP and READ this before you stay here!
Got on the elevator, it was barely functioning, got up to room 219 and it was ATROCIOUS. The carpet looked as though animals were living in the room. I mean it was horrible. I would have rather walked on cement. Looked around the room and someone had stolen the television. This place was a mess. They put us in the only other room (suite) that would accommodate 2 people but it only had a pull out sofa and one bed. We are 50 year old women trying to sleep on a pull out couch ... UNBELIEVEABLE!

Ok place
I wish I hadn't made reservations. I would've found a cheaper hotel that might of had more to offer. Plus the pool was dirty.

unforgettable
The room smelled. There was hair in the bed and the bathtub. The floor in the bathroom was sticky and the fridge smelled and was not clean. Although the staff was very friendly.
