Unexpected Surprise
My regular hotels sold out so I tried the Jameson Suites. It was more modern than I expected. In a familiar/central location and at a good price. Not fancy, but clean, comfortable & safe.

Jameson Suites Augusta is very clean, well organized and provides true service. Includes free wifi and real breakfast. I travel about 2 weeks per month and I can honestly say Jameson does an excellent job.

I don't get it
I booked this hotel because of the 4.5 rating. Boy was I disappointed! I booked a double non-smoking and we were given a king smoking. When brought to their attention, we were told it was because [...]doesn't give the hotel anything but our name, so we were switched to a double non-smoking right beside the elevator, across the hall from a barking dog, and facing the noisy interstate.The lobby area is attractive but our room was run down despite the sign claiming "all new rooms". The furniture is scraped and chipped and the cloth desk chair was filthy! The lamps were thick in dust. The door had obviously been forced open because the door was splintered under the security latch. Beds were fairly comfortable. I definitely won't stay again.

Nice everytime
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last year and everytime is a great experience. This is a very nice from what the Jameson Inns used to look like and breakfast in the morning is a plus...great location to Washington Road.

Great experience
That was a great experience but the breakfast...My room was very clean and big. But my room's light which in the bathroom didn't work. And the breakfast was just so so, nothing special.

Clean freak
Mid-week business travel
I came into town for business. It was a one night stay. The hotel seemed very clean, and I liked that all of the rooms were non-smoking. I was impressed that my room had an almost full-size refrigerator and microwave. There were two things that could have been better. First, the television seemed to have very few channels to choose from. There were no movies on demand, although the hotel has Showtime. The other thing was that it would have been nice if it was a little less noisy. Internally, the noise level was low, but a train came by at 4:30 AM and I could hear that even while wearing earplugs...

Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. we arrived during a basketball turnament very noisy but everything quieted down about 11
