NO MINI- REFRIGERATOR IN ROOM

The Doubletree was conveniently located right off of the freeway and had a brightly lighted outside parking lot. Since I was travelling alone I appreciated this safety factor. A big drawback was there was NO mini refrigerator. I inquired at the desk and they said they only had them in their suites but could get me one for an additional $10.00/day. NOT GOOD! I will not stay here again. I will search for another hotel with more ammenities.

Doubletree Hotel Augusta

This was just an OK Doubletree Inn. Friday and Saturday nites are all you can eat Prime Rib and Seafood. Had we known we might have tried it, but the wait was too long! Nothing great about this one.

Not standard of Doubletree/ Hilton Honor

Have stayed at Doubletree Hotels in the pastand found them great clean , wounderful stay. But this property, not same standard. This hotel looked nice on the outside , but once on the elevator a lot to desire. Elevator very slow, the hallways smelled like tobacco /smoke overwhelming and mold. Thankfully not inside our room.Nice fitness center , but televisions only two stations(ESPN or Public TV) .Breakfast buffet reasonable price at $10, but no healthy choices, dirty dishes.I will return to Augusta in the next few weeks for business, but will stay at an other hotel chain.

Valentines weekend

The hotel was nice however, apparenlty we were a little too loud and staff was very rude about it. They could have addressed in a more professional manner. We had the TV on if their Tv volume is too loud then maybe they should have volume control set on the TV.

Nice hotel.. comfortable room/bed

anniversary night/father's day visit to Augusta. /first time in hotel. front desk staff could be a little bit more polished. It was a bit hectic/unprofessional when we checked in. Room was great. Bathroom is starting to show some age. Lobby was nice, but the music on Saturday night was awful! Cookies were very good and the breakfast buffet was good.

Not the worst nor the best yet!

Disappointed...had to change my room due to a varnish used to refinish interior doors in the middle of my stay. Upon returning to my room the smell was so strong, my allergies went haywire and I had to switch my room...no compensation offered ...this was approximately 11pm at night...Very disappointing...I was told by staff, they had other complaints from other guests as well.

Great Stay!

I knew the hotel was nice but it was even better than I thought! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just 2 minutes from alot of dining options, some shopping, and a movie theater. However its just far enough away that its quiet. I loved the bed. It was so soft I could have stayed there the whole trip! I will be staying there in the future for sure.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

The Regal movie theater is just around the corner along with dining options for families but if you want to go out for drinking and dancing Surey Center is just down Walton Way about a 10 minute drive. There is a dance club (the VUE) and a few high end dining options for a couples date night there.
