Owner was very aggressive ,the hotel in the "ghetto" and in very poor repair. I doubt we could find worse! In my opinion the worst, scariest experience we could have had. Thedirty shower had dried hair stuck to walls, Toilet trouble flushing and
the thinnest towels in existence. When we were waiting for a cab to leave, some youths hanging around the hotel kept approaching our luggage in attempt of removing it. We could not take the bags in the "lobby" due to lack of space. We had to wait outside on a very cold day awaiting a cab.
My opinion, don't even think of staying there unless you have a death wish!!!

More than worth the price
My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay for 4 nights to prepare for a long road trip. So obviously we needed to keep a tight budget.
Total, the hotel cost significantly less than renting a vehicle. The hotel staff were friendly and they made
sure to take care of us each day we ran into them while they did their daily cleaning duties in the other rooms.
For the type of service given, we paid a small price

No Frills but ...
My adult daughter and I went to Augusta to visit my son, who is stationed at Ft. Gordon, over the Easter weekend. It turned out to be just before the Masters Golf Tournament, so the room was reasonably priced on Saturday night, but Sunday was
outrageous! The room had been recently updated with new paint, toilet, vanity, and carpet. The room was on the small side. Plain Jane. It was very clean and did not have any smell (non-smoking room). They overlooked replacing the AC/heat unit, and the unit in our room did not perform very well-probably a big issue if it were mid-summer. There were no "extra" electrical outlets for cell phone chargers. The staff was friendly. The location is close to Ft. Gordon. Overall, it was "fine." I would stay again - but suggest NOT over Masters week, as the prices were ridiculious for that room if you aren't there for golf, or you intend to spend a lot of time in the room. We did not partake of the breakfast, but from the looks of it, don't count on anything special.
