Expensive Eggs Benedict
Wounderful hotel, great location, great service, but poor value for food and beverage. Spent $40 for juice, coffee and the worst eggs benedict ever. I will return, but will eat and drink elsewhere.

If your favorite sport is posturing
This W hotel is as slick as a magazine spread would lead you believe. while the property is petite - the style is large. I think I could have done without the thump thump lobby techno music, but I had an enjoyable stay. The bed and linens were heavenly to slip into. Nice Bliss bath toiletries and room decor. The roof bar Blue Whisky tended to over serve some of their patrons which left on suited man passed out on a stylish roof couch. But it was fun, and the staff appear glamourous without conceit. I'd stay there again just for the bedding.

zig zag travel
Bliss spa is not on this location is in midtown. overall really good service, great food. great location. they lack attention to detail not only this one but the ones in NY. Its like they have taken for granted people will visit. when i arrived in my room, all the drawers were open, the dark shade on the window didnt work, the tv was on on some random channel, and there were some old used post its on the table. the mini bar was not furnished and they dont give you the key until you realize you need one upstairs. i called front desk and they fixed everything immediately, but the same thing has happened a couple of times in the past in other W. they need to go back to basics and pay attention to detail.

Great location, attentive staff.
The location worked well for this business trip. I didn't have a car so it was nice to have good restaurants within walking distance and easy access to taxis.

Complete Garbage Hotel
This hotel is located in a good spot, however next door is the Westin, the Ritz, etc. which also have good spots. I cannot tell you how poorly the hotel is run. Obviously, it prefers to be a nightclub, and not a hotel. The room was exceedingly small. Additionally, in no particular order the things that I found offensive were: charging $30 for parking which was not advertised on Orbitz; finding the housekeepers dirty cleaning rags in my suitcase!!!; the beds do not have fitted sheets so the cover sheet scrunches up underneath you; the shower pressure is restricted so much that you cannot get adequately washed up; and, the housekeepers knock on the door on your check out date at 10am even if the "do not disturb" sign is up. The hotel completely ruined my Atlanta business trip. If you want to visit their nightclub do so, but do not get hoodwinked by staying in this garbage hotel. What a disappointment...

nice hotel, great service, very loud
On a business trip near Buckhead, the location was great, right in the middle of Buckhead. The check in girl and concierge were great, very friendly and informative. I didn't go to the lobby bar, but it seemed very cool. The only negatives were that it was very noisy on the floor. My room was pretty far away from the elevator but I could here it everytime it stopped on my floor. I could also hear everytime a door opened. I also thought valet at 30$ was pretty high. The valets were also very pleasant.

Quirky, hip and comfortable
Great Location. Excellent restaurant. Super friendly and helpful staff. Elegantly contemporary decor. Room was comfortable. Quiet guests (except for an occasional slamming door). Minor complaint: wall in shower stall was too small, resulting in lots of water on the floor.

Short walk from hotel
Go to Dante's jazz club across the street, which is a large wooden sailing ship, with a moat, with live crocodiles in it, INSIDE a building! The music is great. Also, there are two high end malls within walking distance. If you can afford it. I picked up a woman's sandal and read $745 on the sole, and asked the clerk if that was for one shoe or for the pair. Also, there is a super-hip nightclub on the roof of the W Hotel. (You get a free pass if you are staying at the W.) It was chic and loud and a little self-impressed. I'm too old for that kind of thing, but the under-30 crowd seemed to thrive on it.
