Great Romantic Getaway!!!

We visied all of the attractions such as the aquarium, the coca-cola musium & so on. Dinning was a plus, their were plenty of ... restaurants 2 choose 4rm in the area, we didn't get a chance 2 visit the Sun Dial restaurant due to construction. However the hotel bar was a nice place 2 go & relax while having a drink.

For a 4 star hotel, this was lacking. The carpet had dark circles of past events in the room and carpet was extremely worn. ... Also, the upholstery on the sofa was extremely dirty. Bathroom was clean. There was no robe that was described in the room description. I have had better rooms at Motel 6.

This is a wonderful hotel. Location was great. In the middle of downtown. There was plenty to do. The only thing was that The ... Sundial Restaurant was closed for renovations and I was unaware of that at the time I booked. I was disappointed that I could not go up there. Other than that, it was the perfect place to spend a weekend. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Having accommodations in the same facility as the workshop being attended is extremely handy. The security was good. ... Refreshments were tasty and abundant. When something was needed for the workshop, the staff was very helpful. I didn't like that my room smelled moldy or mildewed.

We had problems getting our car in and out w/valet parking. Just too many cars and not enough staff working at night. ... Overall condition of the hotel was not great. It was clean and service was good but hotel is in need of a facelift. I would not go back.

It was just as good if not better than i thought it would be. Its right in the middle of everything and no driving was ... neccessary to have a good time. The hard rock, and several other great restaraunts are right across the street. The hotel dining was excellent but a little pricey as expected. The pool and fitness center were very clean, and exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful with everything we needed and were all very friendly. I do not regret staying at the westin at all.

Overall our experience was good. We came in for the baseball game and hotel was a short taxi ride away. We dined in the Sun ... Dial Restaurant and thought the views were great although the menu was limited. For the price- I'd dine elsewhere.

Got off to bad start but got better

Was checked into accessible room which I had not requested. Room was small and bathroon was dark - too dark for putting on ... make-up, noisy air conditioner, peeling wallpaper. Front desk sent someone right away that night to fix air conditioner and when I called the next morning to check bathroom light. That electrician insisted on getting me a new room which was very nice and bright in the bathroom. Still, I was bothered that someone in a wheelchair could be given such a second class room.

It was goo the romms were a lil cramped, and payed all that for a hotel and they didnt even have a freaking mini fredge in ... the room! But it was nice quiet and all around a good hotel just a few quirks they need to work out!

We came to Atlanta to catch a Braves game for my birthday . We also went to the Aquarium and to the World of Coca Cola . We ... also visited Underground Atlanta and some of the other sites in and around downtown. We recommend Metro Cafe Diner for good eats and night life , being they have a full bar and karoke . Also try Max Leger's American Grill and Brewery , good eats also .

everything in and around the downtown area is pretty close , we walked to most of our locations . If coming from the airport we recommend taking the MARTA rail system , at a $1.75 a person it beats taking a $30 cab ride into downtown . Don't worry it's easy and everyones friendly .

everything in and around the downtown area is pretty close , we walked to most of our locations . If coming from the airport we recommend taking the MARTA rail system , at a $1.75 a person it beats taking a $30 cab ride into downtown . Don't worry it's easy and everyones friendly .

You can save some money and time by purchasing the CityPass (6 major attractions) or the Zoo/Aquarium Combo Ticket. The CityPass also has some info about shops, restaurants and bars, and a weekday discount coupon for the Sun Dial (Westin's top floor restaurant).

This hotel is very close to The World of Coca Cola, The Aquarium, and Centennial Park. For wonderful pancakes, hit the restaurant inside the Holiday Inn about a block away.
