Great Hotel!
The hotel was so beautiful. I think it has been recently renovated. Extremely clean and up to my expectations of cleanliness. The views were unbelievable and we wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was great! We will go back!

Major disappointment.
Front desk staff visually bothered about answering questions relative to services. in addition to curt waitress in hotel cafe. Unexpected parking cost of $22 dollars for over-night stay and $5 cup of coffee is un-reasonable.

Worst Vacation Ever
To start off our room wasnt ready when it was suppose to be. Then when we got in our room there was hair all over the shower and bed. Next day, we had no towels when we entered our room. Next day, our breakfast was late getting to us on our last day of the trip. There was no parking in the hotel for half the trip and when we did get to park in the hotel it was 22 dollars everytime we entered and exited. Plus to top it off, I wanted to treat my Fiance to an amazing dinner at the revolving restaurant and it was closed for remodeling. I hate complaining and when I did call down to the manager the did refund our money for the trip.

needs radical change
This hotel should not be anywhere close to 4stars. the only good thing about it is the height and the looks of the building. staff need more hospitality training, especially in the restaurant (morning shift)

Bad day in Atlanta
First of all, I'm an easy going person . . . usually. I dropped off my luggage around 11 a.m. and went out for the day. When I arrived back at the hotel at 7pm, my room wasn't ready yet -- was told it would be around 10:30pm or so before it would be ready. (There were several others affected, too). I kindly told them that was unacceptable and requested a refund for the evening. They first offered a $25 meal voucher, which I declined, then the associate spoke with the manager, who agreed to a $100 refund (I accepted). After going back to the registration desk at 10:50 pm, I was told again that the room wasn't ready, and it would be another 40 mins. That's when I'd had enough. The manager was called and he coordinated with housekeeping so I would get the room they were cleaning. It was an exhausting evening. But wait, there's more . . . I had no hot water for a shower Monday morning! Not good! Now for the good - the view was very nice and the room was otherwise comfortable. But I don't recommend this hotel.

It was very shabby
We expected the hotel to be nice and cozy but when we entered the room we saw that the carpets were dirty and the room was smelly. I will never stay at any of the Westin hotels anymore. The only good thing abt the hotel is its location which is close to World of Coca cola, Olympic park and the aquarium.

Terrible!!!
They turned off the water without warning us. With several small children not yet potty trained that's something I don't wish on anyone. They kept us on hold for what seemed like eternity, only to be told they were not sure when the water was coming back on. The operator was not helpful at all and only after I became irate did they end up moving us to another room which was unacceptable. We originally paid extra for a higher floor/view/sq ft and they gave us a cubby hole and a view of a brick wall. The next room they gave us was on a higher floor but had not been cleaned. They finally moved us to a more acceptable room and were compensated with free valet parking, yet we could not get away from the rowdy people/noises around us. I was happy to leave the following day.

Our visit was the day ...
Our visit was the day after the tornado. We called & were told that the hotel was FINE. When we arrived & our shuttle driver asked 'which hotel?', he winced when we told him the Westin Peachtree. He asked us if we were sure we wanted to stay there!!! Many windows were blown out of the hotel, the lobby area was freezing due to cold wind blowing through, the streets were totally shut down from falling glass, the revolving lounge with the great Atlanta views (which we were all very much looking forward to visiting) was shut down. The wind was howling on our floor. Some of our co-workers had no water & when it came back on, it was only cold. While I certainly understand none of this was the hotels fault, they did lure us there when it was not fully functioning. I probably wouldn't stay there again ....

Too many Hidden Costs
Well the location was great, downtown Atlanta, only a 5 minute walk to all the necessary attractions like the Aquarium, and the Olympic Park. What I did not like was the fact nothing was included in the room price, which was pretty expensive 200+ a night. You had to pay 9.99$ for internet access in your room, and that was just for one day. Parking was 28$ per day for valet and 24$ per day for self parking. No breakfast was included but you could have breakfast sent to your room if you don't mind paying 18$ for an omelete. Overall the only thing good about this hotel was the location, also check-in was at 1500 and I arrived promptly and was told that a room was not ready and waited an hour in the lobby till 1600.

I Can't believe how miserable it was
I was here for an investment club convention. The room was not what I requested. I was told the hotel was full and no room transfer was available. The room smelled of a lot of mildew. The A/C didn't keep up with the heat and humidity even though I asked for an engineer to look at it. The portable phone didn't work. I wasn't able to use my AARP discount. OH! And I threw up after eating the banquet meals. It was not the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a hotel.
