Downtown Atlanta comfort

The hotel has very caring staff in a downtown location. At night everyone acted very concerned about us walking outside ... alone in the vicinity, due to many homeless in the area. Luckily, there are lots of restaurants and tourist locations such as the Coca-Cola factory, Underground, Georgia aquarium, the Olympic park area, and CNN. Also very easy getting around the town, right next to a MARTA station, N1, and cabs are readily avaliable by the entrance.

Downtown Atlanta is kind of expensive, so if you want to go to a place thats inexpensive, fun, and a short drive away go to the bars in Buckhead. Especially Fado's Irish Pub (delicious/fun!)

Excellent hotel; close to acquarium
Missed my meeting and out $30 Jul 22, 2009
Laundry - At 9pm, I requested having a pair of plain cotton pants washed and ironed. I was told it was impossible as the ... laundry doesn't go to the cleaners until 8:30am the next morning and wouldn't be back until 2pm. I said that that was not good as I had an important business mtg at 9am and asked if there was any way the man could wash them in a machine on site. He said he would "take care of it" and I tipped him $20 in addition to the basic charge of ~$10. The next morning the pants were there and even ironed but the huge barbeque stains from my 2 yr old were still all over the pants! I sat there wondering how someone could iron them and not notice the dozen or so inch-size stains. I was furious and had to cancel my meeting. All the RC employee had to say was "sorry, it can't be done" or "there's a coin operated laundry matt 3 blocks down the street." Business 101 "Under promise and over-deliver."

This was a great stay. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and you definetly get what you pay for. The beds ... were so comfortable, and you didn't even know you were in the middle of downtown Atlanta because the hotel was so quiet! There is a turn down service, and if you order room service it is quite delicious! The only downside were the rooms were a little small. Definetly coming back.

I was there on business, scouting out sites for an event. The valet service was amazing, there were always there with my car ... promptly and very friendly. I was on a tight schedule, so this was very important to me. The front desk staff and conceirge provided 5 star service, friendly but not intrusive. I was also in a car accident while there and the staff made every effort to make sure I was OK and taken care of. I can't say enough about this place, I'll definitely be back.

Because we were in town for our hockey team's last away game; I wasn't sure how friendly the city of Atlanta would be. The ... staff at the Ritz Carlton were not only very friendly, but they went above & beyond to take care of our needs. Thank-you!!

My review of The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta

I got a room that had NOT been cleaned. There was water in Ice bucket (where the ice had melted) the cups were dirty. And the ... bathroom was not clean, there were human hairs in the shower and on the sink. I was Very dissatisfied with the hotel and I will Not be back. The location was ok, it was downtown.

From the moment you check-in you experience the essence of the Ritz with its chandeliers and immpecable decor. It was right ... in the heart of everything downtown and we walked to the aquarium. The restaurant catered to our every need my boy friend's quote was, he had never seen any one fuss over tea like this (they didn't have the type of tea that I requested). We loved every minute of it.

I was disappointed with this particular facility, the rooms and furnishings were very old. The price was Ritz Carlton like, ... although the facility and dining options were not.
