Visit for final four

Room was large. Bed and pillows were good. Only had blinds on the windows, no drapes to pull across so it was difficult to sleep late in the morning.

Nothing good, very bad service

This hotel is definitely overrated. The location is nice, but this is probably it. The service was terrible: one day they took the towel and did not give the new one. Also, they did not give tea bags sometimes. It's not that I can't live without tea, but it demonstrates the quality. The lobby was not better: one day, when I wanted to ask, how to get a taxi, I was INTERRUPTED two times. On the third attempt they let me finish the sentence. Finally, there are minor defects, for example, only two elevators in a high building is not enough. Overall, I do not think that one should stay in this hotel.

Great stay

This was the first time we have stayed here during our market business trip. We loved it . It wasnt as close to the market as other places that we have stayed ... I will have to say the distance was worth it. We would stay there again . We were put in a one bedroom suite .. to our surprise and it was wonderful. The staff was very very helpful and friendly .

Weekend in Atlanta

I took a trip to Atlanta, as I have never been there before, and took a friend with me. With all of the history of the area, I had to see what the ATL was all about, and wanted to take a "recon" and "R & R" trip there. I was blown away at the first sight of the hotel - it is a fantastic place! It was clean and well maintained for a building that was built 100 years ago, with the marble floors and staircases. The employees all went out of their way to accomodate me and my friend, and strongly suggested the upgrade to the deluxe room. I am always leery of "suggestive selling", but needless to say, it was the best suggestion I could have gotten! The room, which was on the 11th floor, was first rate, and the view out to the city was breathtaking! Being across from the Fox Theatre, and the history involved in both buildings, was what made it that much more memorable for both of us! I will not hesitate to return to Atlanta and stay there again, and will highly recommend it to anyone that I know that is thinking about a trip to Atlanta!

Just to do it, you need to go to Gladys Knight's for breakfast! Great food, an even better staff, and lots of pics and gold albums on the walls! Order the Midnight Train (Chicken & waffles) - best chicken I have had in quite a while, and the waffle is light and fluffy, done just right!

Fantastic getaway Suberb Hotel!!

Suberb Location about one block from the MARTA train station (best way to get around Atlanta w/o a vehicle) Upon early check-in in got an upgrade to an 2 bdrm suite. Rooms are ENORMOUS like Condos full kitchen, Washer and Dryer, each bdrm has its own balcony a perfect view of the city. Walking distance from Restaurants, Grocery stores, Marta train station. Hotel staff was very friendly and prompt. I will be definitely staying @ The Georgian again!!!!!!!

Great Value - would go back!

This hotel was amazing! It had a rooftop pool (That was open until midnight and clean), the room was very nice, clean and comfortable! We got room service two nights there and it came up pretty quick, hot, and the staff was extremely nice. Free printing, parking on site (25/night for self park and 35 valet/night) Located near fox theatre and close to the MARTA and zipcars within quarter mile. Overall great place for the price and would definitely go back there the next time I visit!

Location, location, location.

I needed to see friends and family on opposite ends of the Atlanta metroplex. Therefore, this downtown hotel located right in the heart of the city is a perfect location for access to the airport and entire city. The staff was friendly. A malfunctioning elevator made things a little inconvenient. And, the parking charge of $25/day should be announced in their marketing material.
