Customer service at its best!

At check in our 1 bd suite was not ready due to 3 wedding parties staying at the hotel. We were quickly upgraded to a 2 bd suite at no extra charge. We had theater tickets at the Fox across the street which I forgot to print and they had them waiting for us downstairs just in time to make the show. When we got back the air wouldn't go below 75 and it was stuffy in the rooms. They couldn't fix it but got us fans right away. They also credited our parking $35 and gave us a $50 voucher for breakfast in the restaurant downstairs! They will be making upgrades but despite the few issues the staff went over and above to make our stay amazing!

Georgian Terrace Suite

We reserved a suite and the room was very big, bigger than most types of rooms at similar hotels. The price was very good value as well. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect was us. The only draw backs we encountered was that since the hotel is quite old there some noticeable things that need updating here and there. As well as in the room, there were some scrapes and "quick fixes" leaving obvious repairs exposed. I'd give the hotel and the room an A.

Beautiful hotel in Atlanta!

The Georgian Terrace was a gorgeous historic hotel with wonderful service and very spacious rooms. A highlight of our trip was spending some time relaxing at the rooftop pool, enjoying the view of the skyline and looking all the way out to Stone Mountain. The one shortfall that we experienced was a few occasions when our key cards did not work and we had issues getting into our room and using the elevator. other than that, great hotel and we would stay here again.

Great stay!!

The location is perfect, across the street from the Fox Theater. Parking is $25 a night which is typical for the area. The hotel is beautiful and very charming. The decor is gorgeous. Our room had a nice view of the city. Enjoyed my stay.

Best way to visit Atlanta

If you appreciate classic architecture, The Georgian Terrace is the #1 spot in Atlanta. Situated between downtown and midtown, you have fantastic choices for local restaurants as well as up-scale fine dining. The staff is polite and helpful and the rooms are beautifully furnished. During the summer, you cannot beat the large outdoor terrace for drinks and people watching.

got a great upgrade

I had booked a small room via O_rbitz but when I went to open my door I realized the front desk had given me a 2-room suite with an office and kitchen. Not too shabby! Good value and good location on a street with a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
