Southern classic hotel near Atlanta’s top attractions
Celebrating 100 years, be part of the history. The Georgian Terrace Hotel has been Atlanta's place to be for a century. This hotel hosted the world premiere of Gone with the Wind in 1939 – it doesn't get any more classic than that. Presidents and movie stars have stayed at this Atlanta landmark over the years. Antique-style furniture in all of the rooms adds to the classic appeal. The hotel is on Atlanta's busy Peachtree Street and just a short walk, drive or subway ride from some of the city's top attractions.

My Trial Run
It's location in regards to public transportation is great. The noise issue, not really bad but noticeable, could be contributed to the rooms' location. All the staff was very pleasant.

Under Construction
There was construction being done on the whole hotel, it was inconvenient. I was early for check in but still had to wait 30 mins for my room to be ready. The light in the rooms didn't work.

Excellent hotel
The staff at this hotel is one of it's best assets. All were friendly, helpful and cheerful. The hotel is located close to everything we wanted to do and see, the view from the room was beautiful at night and I slept in one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. I will mention that if you are sensitive to light when you're trying to sleep, bring an eye mask because the drapes don't pull shut. There are just blinds that you can close but it doesn't totally block out the light. The hotel is undergoing some remodeling but it didn't really affect us (as far as noise) up on the 12th floor but once you get closer to ground level you could hear the tile saws. Think of it as an EARLY wake up call. It is a beautiful hotel, great location and staff. My next trip back to Atlanta, I'll be staying here again.

The cleaning staff
at 9:30am the cleaning staff came in do discover me in my bed, not saying they didn't knock, but I didn't hear it futhermore the do not disturb sign was hung on the door handle. Other than that great place, with nice view.

Excellent Value and Luxury
The room was incredible with a full bedroom and kitchen it was a wonderful value. The staff was excellent, very customer service oriented and satisfaction driven. The room was very well appointed with luxury furnishings and exemplary service. The only point of concern was the very old and very small televisions in both the living room and bedroom of the suite.

Felt like home

Good for the money
Valet parking was nice, but at $25/night, a little steep. But check in was quick and easy. The Lobby is lovely, very impressive. The room came complete with a full kitchen and washer/dryer! We didn't eat at the hotel, as the prices were much too expensive for our taste. But just a few blocks down the road, there's a plethora of mid-range and high-end eateries. We found a great brewery/restaurant with some killer stouts. Very nice area directly across from the Fox Theater. To the left there's a 24 hr diner a block up, and to the right there's clubs and restaurants. A really good location.

About 5 or 6 blocks to the right (as you exit the hotel) there's a Taco Mac restaurant. Good, decent american food, plus a ton of beers on tap. Good prices, too.

Pleasant Hotel, Great location.
The Georgian Terrace is a nicely renovated hotel in an excellent location. Our room was a decent size with a separate area for the desk. There were only two downsides. The bar/restaurant was like the worst fern bar with not even that much atmosphere. I don't know if the renovation is unfinished but they need to do something to make it more welcoming.
