Great Staff

I was visiting Atlanta for a job interview, but the hotel made me feel as if I was on vacation. The staff is amazing. They let me and my girlfriend check in early and check out late. Our flight did not leave until around 10pm so the staff even held our bags so that we could continue to explore Atlanta. Great stay, I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and Historic

The hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was nice, we loved the views from the roof top pool. I was not happy that the heat did not work in our room or the phone, tho we would enjoy staying at this hotel again.

Georgian Terr Review

The door to our first room was broken. The 2nd room had a broken television in the bedroom as well as a broken alarm clock--neither of which got fixed. There were no full length mirrors anywhere in our suite. With so many amenititres broken or missing, we would not go back.

Overall bad experience

The Georgian Terrace looks inviting from the outside, but the rooms are below standard. The hotel is 100 years old, and the rooms definitely show the age. The rooms smell weird, the heating barely works. Overall a bad experience, considering this is one of the seemingly nicer hotels in mid-town. Definitely won't be staying there again...not in a 100 years!

Disappointed

I stayed for one night after an exhausting trip from Japan. The staff was pleasant, however, the 18th floor looked as though it just went through CHEAP renovations as did my room. The new paint needed another two coats, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and there was construction and lots of noise outside my window all night. The room service menu was unappetizing. Being that I couldn't sleep, I decided to start getting ready for an early morning departure. I needed to iron a shirt and had no ironing board--I had an iron and no ironing board. So I called and asked for an ironing board---TWO hours later, no ironing board! I called again and they finally brought it to me and still expected a tip. But that was after the guy came in and checked my closet to make sure i didnt miss it. THEN he went to get an ironing board. I was a bit irritated. At checkout, I was charged $70 for local calls! They regarded it as long distance. When I asked about it, they were kind and removed it from my bill. Valet was $30. In spite of the staff's friendliness for the most part, I won't be returning.

Business/ pleasure trip

Great hotel to stay in, beautiful architecture in and out, and neat history. Located downtown opposite Fox Theater. Convenient to tourist sites such as the Georgia Aquarium (fantastic) and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Rooms completely updated in a contemporary, minimalist style, flatscreen TVs with satellite. Only wish there was a safe in the room. Livingston, their restaurant, serves some excellent dinner meals. Would definitely stay here again.
