Atlanta Family Visit!
Even though we were a late arrival, the clerk was prompt, helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very good value, clean-comfortable-good sized rooms. Currently undergoing extensive renovation which will only enhance the next stay. Breakfast was included and offered a nice selection. On our next visit to Atlanta, the Sonesta will be our first choice to stay.

Short drive from hotel
If this is your first trip to this side of Atlanta, go to "The Varsity" on North Ave across the interstate from Georgia Tech. What a hoot! It's a throw back to another time with great food.

Very nice place to stay
Located in a very nice neighborhood and just down the road from the MARTA subway station with parking for the car. Room was very nice and accomodated our family very well with the full kitchen. Could use a few more pans for cooking. Only disappointment was that the pool patio was under construction. It was a little cool to swim but we would have like to sit outside. Staff was very friendly and lobby beverages and snacks were great.

Drive your car 1/2 mile to MARTA station with free parking then take the subway to downtown. Do not try to drive or park downtown.

Great family vacation!
We had a fabulous stay. Our room was clean and well stocked. We stayed in a one bedroom with three kids and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was great and really kept us from having to eat out at every meal.The free breakfast is excellent. They had a real continental breakfat, not just coffee and doughnuts-eggs, hot belgian waffles, sausage, fruit, yogurt, muffins. We will be back!

Gets the job done
We were pleased with the hotel, the full breakfast, the pool, parking, etc. Comfortable and it was nice to have a suite. For those who don't know Atlanta, they should be aware that the Perimeter is quite far from the center of town. It's not too long on the highway, but things are very spread out there (Atlantans would no doubt consider anything short of the farthest suburbs to be relatively central) and it's definitely a ways out as the crow flies if you're used to staying closer to town.

Family Full of Fun
This hotel without a doubt was a great value for the money. I stayed here for two nights with three kids and my grandmother and the two bed and two bath came in so handy. Breakfast was great and the location was very ideal. An upscale mall and numerous amenities, made this place very afforable. We will book here again when we come to town.

Short drive from hotel
Perimeter Mall is upscale and then there is other shopping near by as well. Anything you would need, is just a short drive away. If you like walking, it would take about a 1-1.5 mile walk to shopping.

Disappointed in a Usually Good Hotel
I've stayed at this hotel many times, but was very displeased with our family's stay. I was treated unkindly upon check in when I asked the check in attendant for a possible room up grade since I was a priority club member. I have always been able to receive this before even when booking here. She became very short and said that was not possible since I had booked through a third party and could only be done with a charge. Our room smelled of smoke, and our pull out sofa for our son only had a top sheet and no blanket. There was noise all night long, but we did not call the front desk for any of these issues because we did not feel like dealing with the lady any more. My advice would be to book at the east down the road where they are always warm and friendly.
