Stayed overnight for a concert at the georgia dome. Just walked up the sidewalk, it was great. CNN center and a few ... restaurants in the area were handy as well. Hotel was clean, staff was courteous and friendly. We had a great time. Thanks

I stayed here while working a conference at Philips Arena. The location was perfect because it rained during the entire ... conference and I didn't have to get out in it at all. I felt very safe walking to and from the arena. My friend and I decided to have a drink at the bar in the lobby late Friday night. Unfortunately about a hundred others from the conference decided the same thing but the service was excellent regardless of the crowd. Customer service as a whole was really above and beyond. I will definitely consider this hotel again.

There's a great little cafe/store in the hotel that serves Starbucks coffee along with many other things and I'm so glad I decided to swing by there before getting something in the CNN center. The lines were forever long and I was able to whip right past them with my coffee and bagel in hand. Don't miss this little hidden gem. Great staff there too.

There were places to eat within walking distance after the concert so we did not have to get out in the traffic leaving the arena.

Loved that the hotel was directly connected to Philips Arena as we were there to see the Jonas Brothers concert 8/22/09. ... Used the wi-fi in the lobby to watch their live chat before the concert. Had a great view of Centennial Park from our room.

The staff was very friendly always saying "hello", "good morning", etc. and asking if we needed anything. The location ... provided us with good restaurants and shops nearby. The park was just across the street and offered a place to relax.

This is great location for downtown Atlanta. We used Marta train from the airport to get here; transfer from 5 Points to CNN ... Center, then a short walk to the hotel. This is a clean hotel with great service. We had a great view from floor 23 and I loved the bed feeling new and firm. For cheap and quick eats there is the food court at CNN Center. There are plenty of other choices for food in the area. I would stay here again. I felt very safe in the area. It seems downtown Atlanta had done lots to clean up the area.

We made a pit-stop in Atlanta in our cross-country trip. The kids wanted to hop in the pool, but it closed at 9 pm and we ... didn't get in until 930 pm. The valet area was congested due to a convention and a soccer competition. We were tired from being on the road and the bell hop was so pushy/eager, it was nerve wracking. Too many workers involved in the check in process. For instance, the valet guy, the bell hop at the curb to put your luggage on the cart and pass you on to the other bell hop who takes you up to the registration desk and then up to your room. At first, I guess the noise of all the people, valet driver shouting out to each other, and us just wanting to check in was a bit much. The south and north hotel was confusing and there were certain elevators for different things you were doing. Bottom line: If you're going for some fun as a couple, go for it. If it's a family affair w/children, call in advance or check online to see what activities will affect your stay. I didn't find it family-friendly. I must say the one bell hop who took our luggage up to the room was patient and informative. The place is GORGEOUS and quite fancy, so if that's what you're looking for...it's perfect.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was great, service was great. Connected to CNN center and a VERY short walk to GWCC and Phillips ... arena. Was in town for a convention, so didn't get to see much else around the hotel, but it seems to be in a good central location. Would stay here again for sure.

The Omni at CNN Center was fantastic! Our room was on the top floor and had an awesome view of the city. Loved the large ... bathroom and the walkin closet. Hotel employees treated us like royalty from the bellman to the desk clerks. With the wide variety of restuarants in the building we didn't even have to leave for a meal. We will return to this hotel as often as we can!
